In the context of economic globalization,compared with the rapidly developing Internet technology and other emerging industries,my country’s manufacturing industry has developed slowly.In an environment of increasingly fierce competition and increasingly complex markets,manufacturing companies must change their development concepts and broaden the scope of cost accounting if they want long-term sustainable development.Value chain cost management just provides companies with new ideas for cost control.Cost management based on value chain theory helps companies find the key points in the cost control process and make improvements to achieve the goal of effectively reducing corporate costs,which is conducive to the survival and development of companies in a changing competitive environment.First of all,based on the research status of domestic and foreign related theories,this article summarizes the domestic and foreign related research literature of value chain theory,cost management theory and value chain cost management.Secondly,taking Company X as the research object and analyzing its current cost management model based on related theories,it is found that there are traditional cost accounting methods,high raw material procurement costs,high management costs,and low utilization rate of by-products in its cost management process.In response to these issues,on the basis of analyzing the necessity and feasibility of X company’s application value chain cost management,the company’s value chain was identified and analyzed,and the company was treated from two aspects:internal value chain and external value chain.The various value activities of the company proposed improvement plans,and proposed measures to build a trust mechanism,incentive mechanism,information sharing mechanism and income distribution system among value chain enterprises to ensure the long-term and effective implementation of value chain cost management in X company.This article combines X company’s existing cost management methods and integrates value chain cost management concepts to analyze the company’s various value links,and proposes improvement plans for the problems in each link.On the one hand,it hopes to improve X company’s existing cost management process Insufficient,enhance the overall competitiveness of enterprises,on the other hand,hope to provide reference and reference for similar enterprises to introduce value chain cost management theory.
