Among the many processing methods of hard and brittle materials,the wire saw cutting technology has the advantages of narrower kerf,less damage to the workpiece,and good quality of the processed workpiece,which has been widely used.When the wire saw is cutting the workpiece,from the initial wire saw pre-tightening force to the tension force when the wire saw cuts the workpiece,the wire saw tension has a great influence on the surface quality of the workpiece and the cutting force during the cutting process.In order to accurately obtain the wire saw tension changes during the cutting process,this article analyzes and models the wire saw tension while analyzing the cutting changes.On this basis,the tension in the wire saw cutting system is controlled to make it To achieve a stable state,so as to obtain a suitable tension control value and a better workpiece surface during the wire saw cutting process.In this paper,a tension measurement platform was built according to the actual experimental environment,and a tension acquisition device was designed to meet the experimental conditions,so as to avoid the unsatisfactory experimental results caused by external reasons such as structural design and instrument selection.The software platform was built by writing LabVIEW,which connected the hardware part with the software part,the machine tool part with the upper computer system,realized the real-time acquisition of the tension and cutting force data,and compared and analyzed the relationship between the tension and cutting force.By force analysis,the ideal physical model between the tension of the wire saw and the displacement of the tensioning wheel is established without considering the systematic errors such as friction force and relative displacement,and the error analysis is carried out.Based on the model of tension and displacement of tensioning wheel,the displacement of tensioning wheel is adjusted in real time.Using LabVIEW to write tension control software.The PI controller is designed,the control parameters are calculated,and the experimental correction of the control parameters is carried out to determine the final control parameter value.Conduct multiple sets of control experiments according to the control parameters,and compare the tension waveform diagram,cutting force waveform diagram,slice surface roughness and surface topography of the fixed parameter experiment and the PI control experiment,and it can be concluded that the experimental system of this subject is more suitable The cutting tension value is 17N.The tension control experiment has obtained a better control effect,and the surface quality of the slices has also been well improved.
