As an important source of freshwater resources for human beings,the quality of water in reservoirs is closely related to people’s life and the development of industry and agriculture.As an open water body,the water quality of reservoirs is vulnerable to the influence of external factors,and the pollution of domestic reservoirs has occurred frequently in recent years,which seriously affects the sustainable development of society.Therefore,there is an urgent need for long-term,real-time and effective monitoring of reservoir water quality,but the existing means of reservoir water quality monitoring such as monitoring stations have high costs,long duration and other problems,manual testing and extremely wasteful of human and material resources,it is difficult to meet the above water quality monitoring needs.For the traditional reservoir water quality monitoring means of various limitations,this paper combined with the rapid development of Internet of Things technology,sensor technology and intelligent mobile platform in recent years,proposed a portable multi-parameter water quality monitoring system.The system consists of sensor module,wireless sensor network,Android platform and upper computer four parts,choose ZigBee as the data transmission network,greatly reduce the development cost;Android as the monitoring platform of water quality parameters,provide good human-computer interaction experience,improve the portability and portability of the system;upper computer consists of server and My SQL database,the server through HTTP protocol to achieve communication with the Android platform,build a bridge between the Android platform and the database data interaction,My SQL database is used to store and manage a large amount of data collected.In terms of hardware,the system completes the selection of sensors for temperature,PH,conductivity and water level,and the interface connection between ZigBee and sensors and Android platform;in terms of software,it realizes ZigBee data acquisition and transmission,the program development of Android platform APP and upper computer server,and the construction of My SQL database.Finally,in order to verify the reliability and practicality of the system,the completed water quality monitoring system is experimented,and the experimental effect verifies that this system can collect various water quality parameters,realize the transmission of data between various platforms,set the parameter thresholds and alarm the parameter data abnormality in time,and basically meet the functional requirements of small reservoir water quality monitoring system.
