Countermeasures And Pollution Risk Assessment Of Drinking Water Source In Fengzhen City

The safety of drinking water is a very important issue in our country.It is not only related to the lives and health of the people,but also related to the sustainable development of the economy and society.It is an important development indicator of the national economic level and quality.The water source areas of Fengzhen City(the water source area along the East River of Xincheng Bay and the water source area of Zeluogou)were the research object.and The current situation of the drinking water source pollution in Fengzhen City were investigated through investigation and research methods,literature research methods and statistical analysis Based on the analysis of the water quality of the water source.Reasonable pollution control countermeasures were put forwarded.The main results were as follows:1.After on-site investigation,there are enterprises,residential areas,gas stations,farmland,etc.in the water source protection area,which had caused serious pollution to the water quality of the water source area,and comprehensive treatment should be carried out.2.The groundwater quality of the water source along the East River of Xincheng Bay belonged to neutral and weakly alkaline water,which was low-mineralized fresh water;the water quality of Zeluogou water source was good,with a salinity of 0.49-0.70g/L.3.The water quality of the water source was affected by petroleum pollutants in gas stations;the biochemical oxygen demand(BOD)and suspended solids(SS)and animal and vegetable oil content of hotel accommodation sewage exceeded the limit values of 7.1mg/Land 14.4 mg/L and 13.4 mg respectively /L;The chemical oxygen demand(COD)and SS of the wastewater from the repair shop exceeded the standard,the BOD of the water quality of the large car wash exceeded the limit value of 22 mg/L,and the p H value of the alkaline oily wastewater from the garage was greater than 11.4.Use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides of Fengzhen City were decreased year by year.In 2020,they were decreased by 7.91% and 41.7% respectively.and the amount of livestock breeding were increase by 140.8%.Therefore,the livestock breeding environment would cause certain effects on the drinking water source of Fengzhen City.5.The main water source pollution control countermeasures were as following,to carry out anti-seepage and anti-pollution treatment for buildings with hidden pollution hazards,timely to clean all garbage in the water source,to treat the River section,to established protective forest belts and implementation and to close the protected area.Countermeasures of source treatment can reduce the discharge of pollutants and improve the level of pollution prevention and control,fundamentally solve the problem of water source pollution in Fengzhen City,and protect the safety of drinking water in Fengzhen City.
