In recent decades,technological progress has profoundly affected the pattern of the industrial world.All industrial sectors have been confronted with a change in technological paradigms,and global competition is becoming increasingly fierce.In order to cope with the fundamental changes in the competitive environment,enterprises are also adjusting their strategic objectives to gain more competitive advantages in the market.Manufacturing industry ware pursuing an increased productivity and better overall equipment effectiveness to adapt these changes,and has been innovating and evolving different theoretical systems to ensure its leading trend in the competition,like TQM,LEAN,world-class manufacturing etc.AC company has had to transform and upgrade current production and operation mode from the management to seek further business development,under the circumstances of market share decreasing,profitability declining and operating costs rising.Workplace management was choice to the first optimization part as it is the core of the company and the most effective components for cost controlling.This study is focus on AC company’s production site,to investigate the existing management issues and the root cause behind the problem from the employee survey and production loss stratification data by the method of theory combining with the field research.And then formulate the optimization scheme by the relevant theory of scientific management and world class manufacturing tools for it,which including working condition improvement to zero safety accident occurring,TQC improvement to zero defect producing,process re-engineering to zero inventory keeping,task standardization to zero waste operating,TPM management improvement to zero breakdown running.Meanwhile,it also clarified the sustain safeguard measures,such as organizational structure optimization,Kaizen culture cultivating,leadership’s participating and supporting,appropriative and effective training,financial and technical guaranteeing,and powerful assessment and motivation policy.With the inspiration of this workplace management optimization research,AC will achieve scientific worksite management,improve productivity,enhance product quality,reduce production costs,shorten the delivery period,ensure the safety and cleanliness of the working environment,and motivate the employees,so as to boost the core competitiveness of the enterprise.
