| Based on the literature review of nano-zirconia ceramic materials,this article has successfully developed a novel anti-epidemic and antibacterial nano-functional agent in response to the spread of the world’s new coronavirus epidemic and the demand for epidemic prevention and oral health materials.The nano-functional agent and 3mol%yttrium-stabilized zirconia were compounded to prepare a new type of antibacterial zirconia ceramic material.The morphology,phase structure,mechanical properties,antibacterial properties,anti-aging properties,bulk density,light transmittance,the color were tested and analyzed,and the best functional agent content and the best sintering temperature were obtained,which provided a theoretical basis and experimental basis for the application and promotion of new antibacterial zirconia ceramics.The nano-functional agent with ZnO as the main component had a wurtzite zinc oxide structure,a microscopic form into a flake shape and non-biologically toxic,which was used in a variety of antibacterial and antiviral products.When the addition amount of nanofunctional agent was less than 0.5%,there was no antibacterial property.When the addition amount was 0.5%and above,the new zirconia ceramics exhibit excelled antibacterial properties.Under the sintering condition of 1550℃,the optimal addition amount of nanofunctional agent was 0.5%,the antibacterial rate reached 99.96%at this time and the three-point bending strength was 539.4 MPa.The bulk density was 6.035g/cm~3,the Vickers hardness was 1258.67 kgf/mm~2and the light transmittance was32.38%.The color difference△E*ab was 12.019 and there was no monoclinic phase in the new ceramics.When the sintering temperature was 1550℃,the new zirconia ceramic had the largest grain size,the largest volume density,the lowest bending strength,the lowest Vickers hardness,the highest light transmittance and the smallest chromatic aberration.Lowering the sintering temperature could improve the mechanical properties of the new zirconia ceramics,but it would reduce the aesthetic and physical properties.Comprehensive consideration of various performance indicators,the best sintering temperature of this new type of zirconia ceramic was 1520℃.The optimal functional agent content of the new antibacterial zirconia ceramics was0.5%,the optimal sintering temperature was 1520℃,the antibacterial rate was 99.96%,the bending strength was greater than 500 MPa and the monoclinic phase content after accelerated aging was 0%.The new type zirconia antibacterial ceramics meeting ISO 6872:2008"the type II dental ceramic material standard in Dental Ceramic Materials"could prepare the base ceramics of three-unit restorations containing molars and applied them in the field of dental restoration materials. |
