In recent years,environmental governance has become more and more important,complex and public in China.At the same time,the limitation of government dominant model increasingly prominent,the people involved in the willingness and ability is not high,environmental NGO(ENGO)as a new governance force arises at the historic moment,because of the short history,there must be a lot of short board and the insufficiency,but with the development of era,ENGO is with its professional,efficient resource integration ability,gradually won recognition of the government and the public.The most prominent one is that ENGO’s path to participate in environmental governance is more flexible and effective than that of the government.It can realize the public’s demand for environmental value to some extent when the government’s decision-making is slow or ineffective,and at the same time promote the improvement of the government’s environmental governance ability.Based on consulting a large number of literature,summarized the current situation of the development of ENGO,focusing on cadmium rice in J city event ENGO participation in environmental governance path for research,in-depth understanding of ENGO what is the use of resources,take what strategies to participate in environmental governance,in the process of participation,and will face what kind of problem,what kind of success achieved finally.Based on these problems,this paper puts forward suggestions and suggestions on how ENGO can better participate in environmental governance from the aspects of establishing communication and cooperation mechanism between ENGO and the government,strengthening public participation,resource exchange between ENGO and complementary advantages,so as to make new development and breakthrough in environmental governance in China.
