Proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)is a clean energy,with the advantages of small size,fast start-up speed,and low pollution.The internal temperature of PEMFC will rise slowly when it is working,temperature has a great influence on the performance of the stack.The temperature properties of an closed anode air-cooled fuel cell was investigated with the load current through experimental tests in this subject.1.The working principle of fuel cell is studied.According to the working output voltage and heat generation of fuel cells was researched,model of the stack voltage and stack temperature was established according to the corresponding physical formulas,analyze the change trend of the internal parameters of the stack under different working conditions through simulation,with the expectation provided a guide for the subsequent experiments.2.The simulation model of fuel cell is studied.According to the influence of temperature of the stack with different electronic load conditions,the electronic load stepped from 30 A,35A,40 A,45A to 50 A was simulated on the MATLAB/Simulink platform,and then from 70 A,65A,60 A,55A to 50 A,when the load current has step the change rate of the stack temperature in the first 2 minutes,and when the load current step until the stack temperature enter steady state the change of stack temperature.3.The test results of fuel cell is studied.According to the change of the stack temperature during the load current step and the temperature distribution of the stack during the test carry out testing.It was tested at the same ambient temperature,when the load current has a positive and negative step,the change rate of the stack temperature in the first 2 minutes;When the load current step until the stack temperature enter steady state the change of stack temperature;and the temperature difference on the surface and the distributed of stack surface temperature.4.The improve methods of the unevenly distributed of surface temperature of the stack is studied.According to the influence of speed of the cooling fan and exhaust cycle on uniformity of stack surface temperature,in the case of different fan speed and exhaust cycle size,analyzed the influence of both on the surface temperature distribution of the stack.
