| China’s coal resources are more abundant than oil resources,and petroleum oil is relatively scarce.In order to alleviate the contradiction of oil shortage in China,it is important to find alternative fuel for engines.However,most traditional alternative fuels come from the byproducts of oil,so it is urgent to find energy sources other than petroleum oil.It is an important way to make Fischer-Tropsch diesel by F-T indirect liquefaction synthesis technology using the advantaged coal resources in China.In this paper,two engines are modified to adapt F-T diesel / petrochemical diesel blended fuels,and the engine bench performance tests are carried out.The physical and chemical properties of F-T diesel/petrochemical diesel blended fuel with 30% volume fraction of F-T diesel were measured.The change characteristics of engine power,economy,and emission after the application of different components of F-T diesel/petrochemical diesel blends were explored.The variation trends of cylinder pressure,instantaneous heat release rate,in-cylinder temperature,pressure rise rate and emission characteristics of F-T synthetic diesel/petrochemical diesel blended fuel were analyzed.The following conclusions were drawn :(1)Compared with fossil diesel,the kinematic viscosity of F-T diesel is lower,the low calorific value is higher,the distillation range is lower,and the density is lower.(2)Under external characteristics,compared with fossil diesel,the effective fuel consumption of F-T diesel and F-T30 is reduced by 4.7 % and 2.3 %,respectively;CO and HC emissions are significantly lower,while NOx emissions are slightly lower.There is no significant difference between F-T diesel and F-T30.(3)Under load characteristics,compared with fossil diesel,the effective fuel consumption of engine fueled with F-T diesel and F-T30 is reduced by 5.55 % and 2.8 %,respectively,;the emissions of CO,HC and NOx are reduced,and the smoke has no significant change.(4)Comparison of combustion characteristics,compared with fossil diesel,the cylinder pressure,maximum burst pressure,pressure rise rate,in-cylinder temperature and instantaneous heat release rate of engine fueled with F-T diesel and F-T30 are slight increased. |
