Because of its excellent optical properties,mechanical properties,and corrosion resistance,quartz glass has very important applications in the fields of medical biology,aerospace,and chemical instrumentation.At present,the manufacturing technology of quartz glass includes electric melting method,gas refining method,plasma deposition method,etc.,but these methods have disadvantages such as difficulty in forming complex structural components,high energy consumption,and low efficiency.In recent years,it has been reported that the use of light curing technology to manufacture quartz glass has the advantages of energy saving,environmental protection,high efficiency,and high-precision molding,which has opened a new door for the manufacture of quartz glass.At present,the difficulty of light-curing molding quartz glass lies in the configuration of photosensitive paste,and the research on light-curing molding quartz glass mainly lies in the realization of this method.For specific molding processes,such as the study of molding parameters,various types of quartz glass few performance studies.Therefore,this article mainly studies the influence of the configuration of photosensitive paste,the parameters of light-curing molding on the structure of quartz glass,the effect of molding parameters of light-curing on the properties of quartz glass,and the combination of the characteristics of its structure to find the mechanism of its performance.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Through experiments,a set of slurry system for light-curing molding was developed,and the influence of light-curing molding parameters on the properties of the embryo and the monomer conversion rate in the slurry was studied.The results show that when the exposure time is 18s,the surface state of the formed embryo body is the best,and the post-curing time has little effect on the surface state of the embryo body.The monomer conversion rate increases with the exposure time,and the post-curing time has little effect on the monomer conversion rate.The degreasing and sintering process of the embryo body was established,and the structure and properties of the sample after degreasing and sintering were studied.The results showed that the obtained sintered sample was quartz glass,and its performance was basically the same as that of KN7980 quartz glass.Through the analysis of the structure of the light-curing molded quartz glass,the influence of the light-curing molding process on the structure of the quartz glass is studied.The results show that sintering above 1400℃will crystallize the sample.When the light intensity is 10m W/cm~2,the exposure time is 18s,the post-curing time is 0min,and the sintering temperature is 1375℃,the surface condition of light-curing molded quartz glass is optimal,and the surface roughness is within 5nm.When the sintering temperature is1375℃,there are fewer pores(100nm-1um)inside the sample.When the exposure time is 16s and 18s,there are fewer pores inside the sample.The post-curing time is within6min,and there are fewer cavities inside the sample.There are pores with a size of about25nm inside the sample under all process parameters,and the distribution width is basically the same.No micron-level holes were found in the sample.By analyzing the performance of light-curing molded quartz glass,combined with its structural characteristics,the law and mechanism of the influence of molding parameters on the performance of quartz glass are studied.The results show that the parameters within the experimental range have little effect on the density of the sample.When the light intensity is 10m W/cm~2,the exposure time is 18s,the post-curing time is0min,and the sintering temperature is 1375℃,the light transmittance of light-curing molded quartz glass is the best,and over-curing will decrease the light transmittance.The surface roughness has little effect on the vibration quality factor.Only when the number of small cavities in the sample reaches a certain value will the Q value be significantly affected,while the large cavities have a significant impact on the Q value.The modulus of elasticity is not sensitive to the effect of voids and is sensitive to the effect of cracks.
