| With China’s increasingly stringent air pollutant emission policies,the control of ultrafine particles has become a hot spot for research in various industries.As a further development of the bag filter,the cartridge dust collector has the advantages of large filtering area,low operating resistance,simple structure and easy dust cleaning,in addition to excellent filtration efficiency for ultrafine particles.The horizontal cartridge dust collector is suitable for places with highly restricted sites,but the current research is biased towards the traditional vertical cartridge dust collector and cartridge ash cleaning,with less research on the flow field of horizontal cartridge dust collector,this paper takes the horizontal filter cartridge dust collector with two common air intake methods as the research object,and explores its internal flow field and structure.The main contents are as follows:A physical model of two common horizontal cartridge dust collectors with different air inlet methods was developed and simulated using CFD technology to analysis the airflow distribution in the dust collector,the air velocity on the surface of the cartridge,the uniformity of the flow distribution and the pressure drop in the dust collector,etc.The results show that there are turbulences in the flow field in the two air inlet methods.In the top-inlet horizontal filter cartridge dust collector,the air jet phenomenon is obvious in the box,directly flushing the filter cartridge,the maximum speed is 9.50 m/s,the average wind speed is 7.15 m/s,and the flow distribution differenceΔK is 48.8%.In the side-intake method,although there is no jet directly flushing the filter cartridge,due to the presence of vortex flow at the top of the upper filter cartridge,the air velocity reaches 9 m/s,the flow distribution differenceΔK is37.6%,the maximum positive deviation is 21.5%,and the maximum negative deviation.It is-16.1%,and the overall uneven flow rateΔ(?) is 14.9%.There is still much room for improvement.Four types of baffles are added to the side-intake horizontal filter cartridge dust collector,including curved baffles A,B and straight baffles C,D.It is learned that:(1)The flow state of the airflow under the four baffles is similar,but the straight-type baffles C and D have less split flow on the top baffle,while the flow distribution of deflectors A and B with curvature is relatively even;(2)the airflow is in the deflector A,C,D,the diffusion effect of the airflow from top to bottom is not obvious,but noticeable in the deflector B;(3)As the airflow moves to the interior of the dust collector,the airflow diffusion effect range of the deflector B becomes more and more extensive;(4)The deflector is made into a curved surface and the number of baffles is appropriately increased to make the air flow more obvious.Finally,the structure of the side-intake horizontal filter cartridge dust collector is further improved,and the baffle α,the baffle β and the baffle γ are added on the basis of the deflector B,and the conclusion is drawn:(1)After adding baffle α and baffle γ,the internal airflow organization of the dust collector is obviously improved,most of the filter cartridges have suitable surface wind speed,and the filter cartridges filter uniformly.But the dust collector with baffle β added is less effective;(2)Analyzing the pressure drop of the improved precipitator,it is found that the addition of these diversion and blocking devices does not greatly increase the operational resistance of the precipitator,which meets the requirements of high efficiency and energy saving.(3)The internal flow field distribution of the dust collector with baffle B and separated baffle γ is the most uniform,the wind speed in the filter cartridge gap is reduced to 3.40 m/s,and the wind speed on the surface of the filter cartridge is about1.13~2.26 m/s,and the integrated amount of uneven amplitude is 7.7%,with the best effect of each index. |
