While the development of the logistics industry effectively promotes my country’s economic growth,it also brings certain environmental problems. One of them is the increase in CO2 emissions in the logistics industry. The development of logistics industry in China varies greatly. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the regional disparities of carbon emissions in my country’s logistics industry.Using the carbon emission data of China’s logistics industry from 2004 to 2017,and using the Gini coefficient as an indicator to measure the gap, this paper studied the region and evolution of my country’s logistics industry carbon emissions, decomposed the regional gap,and predicted the gap. Finally, based on the research results, some policy recommendations are put forward to promote the green development of the logistics industry. The research content includes: First, describe the regional gap and evolution of carbon emissions in my country’s logistics industry from 2004 to 2017.Secondly,the Gini coefficient subgroup decomposition method based on the relative deprivation theory and the Mookherjee Gini coefficient subgroup decomposition method are used to decompose the regional gap.Third, using the Gini coefficient income source decomposition method, analyze the regional gap and its evolution from the perspective of carbon sources, and then predict the regional gap.The research results show that the regional gap in carbon emissions in China’s logistics industry has not changed steadily.Compared with 2004,the regional gap in2017 has increased.During the sample period, the internal gap in the east and the west became larger and the internal gap in the middle region became smaller. In 2014 and beyond, the internal gap in the west was the largest, followed by the east, and the middle region was the smallest;the gap between the west and the east is the largest, the interleaving from the middle to the west is the smallest;the gap within the regions is smaller than the gap between regions.Oil has an absolute advantage in the contribution rate of the total gap, among which diesel is the main component, and the contribution rate of coal and natural gas to the total gap is less than 10%;regional gap changes are mainly caused by the distribution effect of oil.The third-order curve predicts that the regional gap will increase compared to 2017,and other methods predict that the regional gap will decrease. The point of innovation is: First, extend the data time to 2017,update the data than previous studies, and get the results more in line with current reality.Secondly, the Gini coefficient decomposition method based on the relative deprivation theory is used to decompose the gap. This method satisfies the regularity and solves the cross-term problem. The inequality within the group is consistent with the inequality between the groups. Finally, regional differences and changes are analyzed from the perspective of carbon sources, which is rarely studied by scholars.
