Retainment And Development—A Study On The Custom Of Oil Tea Of Guangxi Heli Dong Minority

Sanjiang Dong oil tea is a special tea made by old tea leaves and some auxiliary materials.This tea drinking mode not only exists in The Dong ethnic area of Guangxi,but also is a unique tea drinking mode shared by many ethnic groups in the northeast of Guangxi.At present,there are six types of oil tea from different regions and ethnic minorities in Guangxi,which are listed as Guangxi Intangible Heritage.The Sanjiang oil tea of Dong ethnic minority is one of them.At present,both the market and the academic circles has thrown an spotlight on the research and promotion of Gongcheng oil tea.The discussion of the oil tea of Dong ethnic minority remains in skills,tea customs,etc,and lacks in-depth study on its changes,social functions,cultural logic and connotations.Sanjiang Heli is a Dong village with a long history and has a keen appetite for oil tea.Oil tea is an important tea inlaid in the life of Heli people.This study adopts participant observation method and in-depth interview method to observe and describe the details of the interaction between Heli people and oil tea by going deep into Heli area of Sanjiang county,in order to show the view of social life of Heli oil tea.This research believes that the oil tea of Dong minority of Sanjiang Heli is a continuance of ways of tea drinking in Jin and Tang Dynasties.Oil tea not only dominates people’s daily diet in Heli area,but also plays an important role in their customary culture,social interactions,religious activities and other social activities.Oil tea embellishes people’s life and promotes the construction of harmonious and stable social order in Heli in the meantime.The current tea-related activities of Heli Dong people reflects their cognition of the natural universe and social relations,as well as their present social life style from different perspectives.In a dynamic development,Heli Dong people has gradually formed a ethnic cultural identification.At the same time,it has also become a powerful driving force for the inheritance and development of oil tea in the new age.
