| The chemical composition and activities of Murraya paniculata and M.exotica in Rutaceae were summarized this paper,and reports the branches and leaves collected from Xishuangbanna,Yunnan.A total of 60 compounds were isolated and identified,of which 3 were new compounds.Through extraction,solvent partition and column chromatography,37 compounds were isolated from M.paniculata,and their structures were identified by spectral analysis to be as: coumurrayin(1),osthol(2),sibiricol(3),minumicrolin(4),murrangatin(5),indicusane(6),meranzin hydrate(7),yuganin A(8),muralatin I(9),phebalosin(10),isomurralonginol isovalerate(11),isomurralonginol senecioate(12),isomurralonginol acetate(13),muralatin M(14),paniculatin(15),cladimarin A(16),7-methoxy-8-(2-formyl-2-methylpropyl)coumarin(17),murralongin(18),7-hydroxy-8-methoxycoumarin(19),scopoletin(20),5,3’-dihydroxy-7,8,4 ′-trimethoxy flavone(21),3,5,7,8,3’,4’,5’-heptamethoxyflavone(22),5-hydroxy-3,7,8,3’,4’,5’,-hexamethoxyflavone(23),3,5,6,7,3’,4’,5’-heptamethoxyflavonol(24),exoticin(25),paniculidine B(26),indazole(27),4-hydroxybenzaldehyde(28),4-methoxy-1,2-benzendiol(29),salicyl alohol(30),xanthorrhizol(31),methyl ferulate(32),pspathulenol(33),plochmolin E(34),acomadendrane-4-β,10β-diol(35),β-sitosterol(36)and khotimchenko(37)respectively.Among them,compounds 8,14,16,21,and 27 were isolated for the first time from this genus,and compounds 9 and 13 were isolated originally from this plant.The branches and leaves of the M.exotica were subjected to methanol extraction,ethyl acetate extraction,and column chromatography separation and purification,and23 compounds were isolated and identified as murraexotin A-C(1’-3’),hydroxy-bisabolu-2,10-dien-4-one(4’),trans-dehydroosthol(5’),3’-o-methylmurraol(6’),indicusane(7’),minumicrolin(8’),(-)-murracarpin(9’),coumurrayin(10’),yuehgesin B(11’),7-methoxy-8-(2-formyl-2-methylpropyl)coumarin(12’),isomeranzin(13’),meranzin(14’),phebalosin(15’),murralonginol isovalerate(16’),braylin(17’),minumicroline acetonide(18’),apigravin(19’),paniculidine B(20’),maltoxazine(21’),(-)-loliolide(22’),β-sitosterol(23’).Among them,1’-3’ were new compounds,and 6’,16’ and 19’ are obtained for the first time in this genus.The compounds 1 and 22 rich in M.paniculata were tested for their inhibitory activity against phytophthora infestans 88069 and the result showed that it had no activity.compounds 1 and 14 were tested for chondrocyte proliferation activity,which showed some activity,and the tumor cytotoxic activity of some compounds was still being tested. |
