Kashin-Beck Disease(KBD)is a serious deformation osteoarthropathic disease,which is extending from northeast to southwest in china.it was endemic disease severe harmful to my country people;s health.The KBD is no definite and reasonable explanation because of complexity of its pathogenesis.Si chuan Aba area is a serious area of KBD.The disease is still active and severe in Aba area。It would extremely effect the person’s life.In the area of high incidence,the local economy and production were destroyed.So it brings the poverty.In this study,we collected samples and making chemical analysis including drinking water,soil profile,and dry and wet atmospheric deposition in Rangtang county and Jinchuan county.And,On this basis,taking the geological features of the region into consideration,Research Se,Ca,elements content and distribution characteristics in the different samples.at last further explored the relationship between KBD and Eco-Geochemical.The main results were as follows:The concentration of anions and cations in drinking water were lower in study area.In the new cases KBD disease area’s drinking water the main cationic K+,Na+,Ca2+,Mg2+ and total ∑Fe2O3 content are obviously low.Compared to drinking water of HCO3-in different KBD disease area,the order was the new cases KBD area>light KBD area.>historical KBD area.The surface soil weathering and erosion is strong in the soil profiles,cause trace elements Se,Mo contents lower in the high altitude.Comparison of in different types of the soil profiles show that:the dark soil and brown soil Se contents lower that meadow soil and cinnamon soil from the new cases KBD area and history KBD area.The Se is low in the different KBD area,cause Se deficiency in the local food crops.Thus,affect human body to Se element intake.Through calculation and analysis the elements flux of the dry and wet atmospheric deposition in the study area.The elements in atmospheric deposition wet to dry fractions ratio between 0-1.The minimum is the trace elements Se,Mo,Zn,Mn.Especially the flux of Se is 0.003 g.hm-2.a-1.Cause the Se deficiency in the local ecological system.
