ObjectiveBy observing the effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Yuyang Zhixue No.Ⅲ applying the method of intragastric administration after Endoscopic Submucosal Excavation(ESE),to explore the efficacy and clinical value of Yuyang Zhixue No.Ⅲ by intragastric administration. In order to promote wound healing and reduce postoperative complications after gastric ESE,new ideas are provided.Methods70 patients with submucosal tumors(SMTs)that met the admission criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,35 cases each. Both groups of patients underwent ESE surgery, indulged gastric tube and received basic medical treatment after surgery. On the first day after surgery, the treatment group used Traditional Chinese Medicine Yuyangzhixue No.Ⅲformula to orally retention gavage, and the control group was given the same amount of normal saline, twice a day for 5 consecutive days. The Observation of postoperative symptoms(abdominal pain, acid reflux, abdominal bloating),laboratory indicators(hemoglobin Hb,white blood cell count WBC,neutrophil percentage NEUT%and fecal occult blood OB),changes,in wounds under gastroscope were quantified and statistically analyzed.ResultsThere were each 3 cases dislocated in both group.A total of 64 patients participated in the data analysis.Basic data of patients in two groups were comparable. In the same group, compared with the first day after surgery, the abdominal pain score and acid reflux score of the two groups decreased on the 6th postoperative day, with a significant difference(P<0.01),while the abdominal distension score had no significant difference(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the difference in abdominal pain scores and acid reflux scores in the treatment group was significantly different(P<0.05),while the difference in abdominal distension scores was not significantly different(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, there was no significant difference in Hb,WBC,NEUT%of the treatment group on the 1st and 6th day after the operation(P>0.05).Compared with the same group, the Hb on the 6th day after the operation decreased at 1 day,no significant difference in treatment group(P>0.05),but had significant difference in control group(P<0.01).WBC and NEUT%on the 6th postoperative day decreased compared with the 1st postoperative day, both groups had significant difference(P<0.01).The OB points of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group, and there was a significant difference(P<0.01).When the gastroscopy was rechecked on the 6th day after surgery, the wound point in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.01),and treatment group healed better.ConclusionFor patients with gastric submucosal tumors undergoing gastric ESE,the treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine Yuyangzhixue Yuyangzhixue No.Ⅲformula applying the method of orally retention gavage administration and basic Western medicine can significantly improve patients’ abdominal pain and acid reflux symptoms, reduce bleeding and promote wound healing after ESE.
