Study On Health Literacy Of Rural Residents In Dongyuan County Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization

In recent years,with the continuous promotion of Rural Revitalization Strategy,the health literacy of rural residents has attracted more and more attention from the government and social scholars.Dongyuan County is an economically underdeveloped area,the second largest county in Guangdong Province,and close to the urban area of Heyuan City.It is the strategic hinterland of Heyuan City and the main force of Heyuan City construction.This is the first time in China to study the health literacy of rural residents in Dongyuan County,which provides reference for Heyuan City,Guangdong Province and even the whole country.It also provides decision-making ideas of health promotion and health education for Dongyuan County Government and relevant departments,and provides a theoretical basis for the revitalization of rural health literacy.To improve the health literacy of rural residents in Dongyuan County can guide them to master some basic health knowledge and skills,cultivate healthy and civilized lifestyle and behavior habits,so as to make correct health behaviors,eliminate old conventions and bad habits,form a civilized new rural fashion,promote the overall development of Dongyuan County’s rural areas,and boost the implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy in Dongyuan County.Based on the experience of health literacy research at home and abroad,this paper conducts a sample survey of rural residents in Dongyuan County,and conducts household survey using the questionnaire prepared by the state.Then the questionnaire data were statistically analyzed.At the same time,we talked with local rural residents,visited relevant government departments and medical institutions to understand the awareness and score of local rural residents’ health literacy from the subjective and objective perspective,as well as the health literacy of rural residents with different characteristics.And in the framework of urban-rural integration development theory,human capital theory,health belief theory and other related theoretical framework,in the context of the implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy,find out the short board of health literacy,analyze the reasons,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions.Rural Revitalization must enhance the health literacy of rural residents.This study found that the health literacy level of rural residents in Dongyuan County can not adapt to the growing health needs of local rural residents and the requirements of Rural Revitalization and building a well-off society in an all-round way.There are low health literacy level of rural residents in Dongyuan County,basic health knowledge and ideological literacy need to be improved,healthy lifestyle and behavior cultivation is insufficient,and basic health skills need to be improved The main reasons are the poor supporting environment of health literacy in rural areas of Dongyuan County,insufficient health education for rural residents,and insufficient health information and health policy publicity.A health promotion model suitable for rural areas of Dongyuan County is proposed,with the government as the leading role and multi department cooperation to create a supportive environment for health literacy and carry out health education for different fields and groups,We should make use of professional institutions to carry out health science popularization,carry out personalized health education with the help of family doctors,strengthen the comprehensive health information service of rural residents,provide authoritative health information,strengthen the health literacy publicity of rural residents,optimize and utilize relevant resources to disseminate health information,so as to lay a good health literacy guarantee for the Rural Revitalization of Dongyuan County,and build a livable,suitable for learning,suitable for employment,suitable for living,for learning and for working Healthy countryside suitable for tourism.
