Objective:Analyze the efficiency and advantages of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of diabetic neurogenic bladder, and provide evidence-based medicine basis for clinical application of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of diabetic neurogenic bladder. Methods: The keywords of Chinese database are: diabetic neurogenic bladder;the keywords of Chinese database are:Traditional Chinese medicine treatment, traditional Chinese medicine treatment, traditional Chinese medicine treatment,Chinese herbal medicine,Chinese patent medicine,Chinese and Western medicine treatment, integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment, acupuncture, clinical observation, clinical research;the keywords of English database are: diabetic neogenie bladder;the keywords of free database are: traditional The databases include CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,CBM and Pub Med.The retrieval time is from 1995 to January 2021.The retrieved literatures were screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the quality of the included literatures was evaluated according to the improved Jadad scale. The metaanalysis of the outcome indicators in the literatures was carried out by using the Review Manager 5.4 software. Results: According to the search strategy,677 articles were retrieved in Chinese,51 articles were retrieved in English database, and 36 articles were finally included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. There were 1365 cases in the control group and 1355 cases in the experimental group. The results are as follows:(1)The total effective rate combined with relative risk(RR)= 1.31,95% CI [1.26,1.37],P < 0.00001,suggesting that the total effective rate of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of DNB is higher than that of Western medicine alone.(2)The mean difference(MD)=-33.55,95% CI [-37.47,-21.29],P < 0.00001,which indicated that the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine could reduce the bladder residual urine volume better than western medicine alone.(3)The mean difference(MD)of daily micturition times of the three articles was-1.25,95% CI was [-1.52,-0.98],P <0.00001.It can be seen that the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine can effectively reduce the daily micturition times compared with the simple western medicine group.(4)The average daily single urine volume combined with mean difference(MD)= 135.02,95% CI [105.26164.79],P < 0.00001)of the four articles, indicating that the improvement effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on the average daily single urine volume is better than that of Western medicine alone.(5)The maximum urine flow rate combined with mean difference(MD)= 1.83,95% CI [1.30,2.36],P < 0.00001)in 5 literatures, and the average urine flow rate combined with mean difference(MD)= 0.82,95% CI [0.38,1.26],P = 0.0003 in 3 literatures. It is suggested that the improvement of maximum urine flow rate and average urine flow rate in the treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine is better than that in the treatment of Western medicine alone. Conclusion: The results of this meta-analysis suggest that:compared with the treatment of DNB with western medicine alone, the total effective rate, bladder residual urine volume,TCM symptom score, urodynamic index and blood glucose index of the treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine are significantly improved, but there is no significant difference in the improvement of bladder detrusor pressure and renal function(urea nitrogen and creatinine). It can be concluded that the treatment of diabetic neurogenic bladder with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine is superior The potential is obvious.
