| AIM: To study the efficacy and safety of RFA in the treatment of single benign thyroid nodules. Methods :72 patients with single benign thyroid nodules from December2016 to December 2020 were selected as the subjects,Preoperative examination confirmed benign nodules,RFA surgical treatment was performed in the above cases. The patients were reviewed at the 1st,3rd,6th and 12 th months after operation, nodule volumereductionrate,of nodule volume reduction rate VRR)Changes,And at the 3rd month after the operation, the patients were observed and counted. Results :1.The size of the nodules was smaller than that of the preoperative nodules at the 1st,3rd,6th and 12 th months,The difference of nodule size and VRR at different time points was statistically significant(P<0.05),2.after RFA surgery,The thyroid function indexes including thyrotropin(TSH),serum free triiodothyronine(FT3),free tetraiodothyronine(FT4),antithyroid globulin antibody(TG-AB),antithyroid peroxidase antibody(TPO-AB)were not statistically significant compared with preoperative results(P>0.05),Conclusion RFA operation does not affect thyroid function in patients with benign thyroid nodules.3.in the course of this study,In addition to a small number of patients postoperative pain, temporary hoarseness, infection and other accidents,No serious complications of organ injury were found. Conclusion: RFA operation has significant clinical effect on single benign thyroid nodule,Not only to reduce the size of thyroid nodules without affecting thyroid function,It also has a low incidence of postoperative complications,As a new era of minimally invasive therapy,With good security,Beauty,It has high clinical application value. |
