| Objective:To analyze the changes and significance of serum betatrophin levels in patients with type 2 diabetic carotid intima-medium thickening,and to clarify the correlation between serum betatrophin and carotid intima-medium thickness(CIMT)in type 2 diabetic patients.Methods:In this study,100 patients with type 2 diabetes were selected as the research object,and they were divided into two groups according to the CIMT thickness of the patients.They were the CIMT thickening group and the CIMT normal group,and 50 healthy people were selected as the control group.The general data of the research subjects,laboratory test results and serum betatrophin expression levels were simultaneously analyzed by multiple linear correlation analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and binary logistic regression analysis of factors affecting CIMT thickening and serum betatrophin.Result:1.General information and laboratory tests:Compared with the control group,the FBG,2hFPG,TC,LDL-C and DBP levels in the CIMT thickened group and the CIMT normal group were significantly increased,while the HDL-C levels were significantly reduced(P<0.05),the levels of TG,HbAlc,SBP,HOMA-IR,FC,2h CP and FINS in the CIMT thickened group were significantly higher than those in the CIMT normal group and the control group(P<0.05).2.The levels of serum betatrophin:The levels of serum betatrophin in the CIMT thickened group were significantly higher than those in the CIMT normal group and the control group(P<0.05),and the CIMT normal group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).3.Influencing factors of CIMT thickening:age,course of disease,BMI,TG,HbA1c,SBP,HOMA-IR,FC,2h CP and FINS are all positively correlated with the thickening of CIMT in patients with type 2 diabetes(P<0.05);The results of multiple linear regression and binary logistic analysis showed that age,course of disease,BMI,HbAlc,SBP,HOMAIR,FC,2h CP and FINS were all independent factors influencing CIMT thickening in patients with type 2 diabetes(P<0.05).4.Influencing factors of serum betatrophin:age,BMI,FBG,TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C,HbAlc,DBP,HOMA-IR,FC,2h CP and FINS are all related to the expression of serum betatrophin in patients with type 2 diabetes There is a correlation(P<0.05);multiple linear regression and binary logistic analysis results show that age,BMI,FBG,TG,HbA1c,HOMA-IR,FC,2h CP and FINS are independent of serum betatrophin in patients with type 2 diabetes Influencing factors(P<0.05).5.Correlation between serum betatrophin and CIMT:There is a clear correlation between serum betatrophin and CIMT(P<0.001).Serum betatrophin is an independent influencing factor of CIMT thickening(P<0.001).Conclusion:Serum betatrophin is significantly increased in patients with type 2 diabetes and CIMT thickening.Serum betatrophin is an independent risk factor for CIMT thickening.There is a significant positive correlation between the two,suggesting that serum betatrophin plays a role in the occurrence and development of vascular disease in patients with type 2 diabetes. |
