| Diabetes is one of the most common chronic diseases.According to the latest data released by the International Diabetes Federation(IDF),approximately 463 million adults worldwide suffer from diabetes in 2019,and 1 out of 11 people is a diabetic, while China is between 20 and 79 years old.The number of adult diabetic patients reached 116.4 million.Improvements in living conditions and changes in dietary patterns have increased the risk of diabetes among members of society, and the diseased population is showing a younger trend. As a lifelong disease, diabetes not only requires continuous medical care by medical staff, but also patient self-management.The key point is that patients’ enthusiasm for disease control and patience to participate in treatment can easily be consumed during the long treatment cycle, which weakens their self-efficacy and ultimately affects the patient’s treatment effect. At present, services for patients with diabetes are no longer limited to the medical field. The development of medical social work has injected new impetus into services for patients with diabetes. This article is based on the author’s internship experience in Hubei Province R Hospital, selects patients with type 2 diabetes in the department of endocrinology as the service objects to carry out group activities.Insufficient nursing ability, negative emotional interference and other issues, four single group services were carried out to improve the basic cognition of diabetic patients, increase patients’ health care behaviors and maintain good mood and mentality, and ultimately achieve the goal of improving self-efficacy of diabetic patients. The author mainly adopts the interview method, participatory observation method, and cognitive behavioral therapy to intervene in three aspects: cognitive construction, behavior shaping, and emotional intervention.Through teaching basic knowledge, guided questioning, group member interaction and experience sharing, with the help of mindfulness therapy Promote patients to change their cognition, behavior, emotions, and mentality.Through process evaluation and result evaluation, reflect on the shortcomings of group activities, continuously adjust activity links, and summarize the application of cognitive behavioral therapy to medical social work from group activity feedback practical experience and effective intervention strategies.Through interviews and evaluation analysis, the author found that,on the one hand, cognitive behavioral therapy and patient self-efficacy improvement in practice are consistent with the concept and intervention direction, which can improve the self-efficacy of patients to a certain extent and provide social support for patients in the group. The network has also been expanded. On the other hand, the use of a single group approach in the medical field to carry out group services has obvious advantages, and group services are highly targeted and time-sensitive,which can not only improve work efficiency, but also stimulate patients’ motivation to participate. Therefore, cognitive behavioral therapy has practicality in improving patients’ self-efficacy,and single group has certain advantages in medical social work.In the specific application,it is necessary to continue to explore the localized practice mode of cognitive behavioral therapy intervention for diabetic patients, and to pay attention to the continuous influence of the single group and the synergy of support network, aiming at the rational use of cognitive behavioral therapy in medical groups, and need to do further analysis and discussion. |
