| Purpose:To explore the feasibility and safety of LLH(laparoscopic left hepatectomy)for the treatment of hepatolithiasis patients with PAS(previous abdominal surgery). Methods:This retrospective comparative study included 111 patients who underwent LLH for curing hepatolithiasis(with PAS,n = 41;without PAS,n = 70)from August 2017 to August 2019.Patients’ general information, surgical outcomes, hospital stay duration, hospitalization cost, postoperative laboratory data, and postoperative complications were evaluated. Results:No significant difference was noted in gender and age between patients with and without PAS(p>0.05).Longer operative times(324.6±82.6min vs 283.9±71.1min,p=0.007)and more hospitalization cost(6.5±1.5 vs 5.9±1.4 Wan RMB,p=0.019)were required for patients with PAS than for those without PAS.Blood loss(323.2±247.8 vs 298.6±230.9ml),open conversion rate(12.2% vs 8.6%),hospital stay duration(17.5±5.3 vs 17.4±5.7d)and postoperative complications were not significantly different between patients with and without PAS(p>0.05).No cases of hepatic failure and mortality were noted.Other opstoperative laboratory data were not significantly different between two groups(p>0.05).Conclusion:LLH is a safe and feasible clinical treatment for hepatolithiasis patients with PAS. |
