Objective:Objective to explore the clinical application value of upper somatosensory evoked potential(USEP)in the assessment of consciousness state of patients disorder of consciousness after craniocerebral injury.Method:63 patients with disorder of consciousness caused by craniocerebral injury in the Department of rehabilitation medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from August 2020 to March 2021 were selected as the research objects.USEP was tested before and after treatment, and the state of consciousness of patients was assessed with the Coma recovery scale-revised(CRS-R).Results:The average CRS-R score of the patients with consciousness disorder after treatment was higher than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The N20 amplitude of USEP main wave was higher than that before treatment, and the latency was shorter than that before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);There was a significant positive correlation between N20 amplitude and auditory, visual, diagnosis, total CRS-R scores before treatment(P<0.05),but there was no correlation between N20 latency and total CRS-R scores, diagnosis and each sub item(P>0.05);After treatment,N20 amplitude was positively correlated with visual, motor, communication, diagnosis and total CRS-R scores(P<0.05),N20 latency was negatively correlated with visual, motor, communication, diagnosis and total CRS-R scores; There was a significant negative correlation between N20 latency change and visual, motor, communication, diagnosis and total CRS-R scores changes after treatment(P<0.05),and a significant positive correlation between N20 amplitude and visual, motor, communication, diagnosis and total CRS-R scores(P<0.05),also the correlation between N20 amplitude and visual, motor, diagnosis and total CRS-R scores was higher than that of latency. Conclusion:Somatosensory evoked potential can be used to evaluate the consciousness level and the effect of arousing in patients with brain injury consciousness disorder to some extent. The higher the amplitude of N20 wave of main wave, the shorter the latency, the better the consciousness level of patients. The dynamic evaluation of N20 changes in USEP showed that the greater the amplitude increase, the shorter the latency, the higher the recovery of consciousness. At the same time, the correlation between N20 amplitude and consciousness level was higher than that of latency. In this experiment,it was found that N20 was significantly correlated with the auditory, visual, motor and communication subscales of CRS-R.
