Objective:To compare the effects of volume resuscitation of crystalloid versus colloid under goal-directed fluid therapy on the postoperative outcomes of patients undergoing low central venous pressure-assisted hepatectomy.Methods:Eighty-six patients undergoing elective hepatectomy under general anesthesia were divided into crystalloid resuscitation group(G1 group,n=42 cases)and colloid resuscitation group(G2 group,n=44 cases)by random number table. Both groups were treated with controlled low central venous pressure technique during liver resection. After radial artery puncture and catheterization, the two groups of patients were connected to the MostCare hemodynamic monitoring system to monitor the stroke volume variation(SVV,stroke volume variation),cardiac index(CI5 cardiac index)and mean arterial pressure(MAP,mean arterial pressure).Based on the strategy of goal-directed fluid therapy,we use crystalloid in group G1 and colloid in group G2 respectively, when SVV,CI and MAP were targeted after hemostasis was completed. The duration of operation, fluid requirement, urinary output, bleeding volume, intraoperative hemodynamic indicators, intraoperative blood gas indicators and intraoperative vasoactive drugs use were recorded. The exhaust time, ambulation time and hospital stay were recorded.Preoperative and postoperative liver and kidney function indexes and postoperative complications were followed up.Results:Compared with group GI,the intraoperative fluid consumption in group G2was significantly reduced(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting was significantly decreased in group G2(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in exhaust time, ambulation time, hospital stay, liver and kidney function indexes between the two groups. Conclusion:Colloid resuscitation can reduce the amount of intraoperative fluid and reduce the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing hepatectomy with controlled low central venous pressure, nevertheless, there is no significant difference in patients’ tissue perfusion and postoperative recovery between crystalloid resuscitation and colloid resuscitation.
