| Objective:To investigate the changes of paraspinal muscles,intervertebral disc,vertebra in degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis with synthetic magnetic resonance imaging(SyMRI),and to analyze the relationship between the quantitative value of paraspinal muscles,intervertebral disc,vertebra and the degree of slip.Methods:This study collected patients from the hospital who were diagnosed with DLS.A healthy control group with sex,age and body mass index matching was included.All participants underwent lumbar SyMRI examination,and lumbar lateral X-ray.The SyMRI parameters(T1,T2,PD)of intervertebral disc,vertebra,psoas,erector spinae,multifidus and the slip ratio of the translated vertebra were obtained.On the obtained images,observe vertebral Modic changes.The independent sample t-test or Mann-Whitney U test was used to analyze the differences in T1,T2 and PD values of paravertebral muscles,intervertebral disc,vertebra between DLS patients and healthy controls.The pearson or Spearman correlation test was used to analyze the correlation between the T1 value,T2 value,PD value in the paravertebral muscles,intervertebral disc,vertebra and the slip ratio of the translated vertebra in DLS.Logistic regression was used to analyze the independent influencing factors of DLS.Significance indicated by P<0.05.Results:41 patients(10 males and 31 females;age range,47-81 years)were evaluated.The control group consisted of 41 age-,sex-and body mass index-matched healthy volunteers.The average value of the bilateral paravertebral muscles of SyMRI parameters were used for the next analyses.The T1 value of multifidus muscle in DLS patients was lower than the healthy group(U=565.00,P=0.01),and the T2 value was higher than the healthy group(t=2.57,P=0.01).Compared with the healthy control group,there were no statistical significance in the PD value of multifidus and the T1 value,T2 value,PD value of psoas,erector spinae,intervertebral disc,vertebra(all P>0.05).The slip ratio of the translated vertebra in DLS was negatively correlated with T1 value of multifidus(r=-0.33,P=0.04),and positively correlated with T2 value of multifidus(r=0.48,P=0.001).However,there was no correlation between the slip ratio of the translated vertebra and the PD value of multifidus,the T1 value,T2 value,PD value of psoas,erector spinae,intervertebral disc,vertebra(all P>0.05).Gender,age,Modic changes,T1 and T2 values of multifidus were included in Logistic regression analysis,showing that the T2 value of multifidus was an independent influencing factor for DLS.Conclusion:The SyMRI quantitative parameters can reflect the changes of spinal related structure in patients with DLS.The slip ratio of the translated vertebra in DLS was correlated with T1 and T2 values of multifidus.And the T2 value of multifidus is an independent influencing factor of DLS.The change of quantitative parameter value of SyMRI of multifidus may be related to fatty infiltration. |
