Objective:To evaluate the incidence of sarcopenia and sarcopenia obesity in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients in our center, and analyze the risk factors that may lead to sarcopenia. Methods:The 120 patients with MHD who were in the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from October 2019 to March 2020 were selected as the research objects. The Asian sarcopenia diagnostic criteria were used to screen patients with sarcopenia and calculate the incidence of sarcopenia. To compare the differences in clinical indicators between the sarcopenia group and the non-sarcopenia group, logistic regression analysis of the risk factors for sarcopenia.According to the percentage of body fat(male ≥25%,female ≥ 35%),the sarcopenia obesity group was selected from the sarcopenia patient, and calculate the incidence of sarcopenia obesity.Results:(1)In MHD patients, the incidence of sarcopenia is 30.80%,and the incidence of sarcopenia increases with age,the incidence of sarcopenia obesity is 15.00%.(2)The age of the sarcopenia group of MHD patients is significantly higher than that of the non-sarcopenia group.Their diastolic blood pressure、dehydration、grip strength、dry weight、DEI、DPI、physical activity、serum albumin、β2 microglobulin、blood creatinine、blood iron and total iron binding capacity were significantly lower than those in the non-sarcoidosis group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Taking the presence or absence of sarcopenia as the dependent variable, the logistic regression results showed that low physical activity 、 average daily protein intake<0.9g/kg/d、weak handgrip strength and light dry weight are risk factors for sarcopenia in maintenance hemodialysis patients.(4)The area of visceral fat in the sarcopenia obesity group was significantly higher than that in the sarcopenia non-obese group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The incidence of sarcopenia in MHD patients is 30.80%,and the incidence of sarcopenia increases with age,and the incidence of sarcopenia is 15.00%.(2)Less physical activity、DPI<0.9g/kg/d、 weak grip and light dry weight are risk factors for sarcopenia in patients with MHD.
