| Objective:Objective to explore the relationship between the incidence of multiple ligament injury and medial collateral ligament rupture by analyzing the imaging data and surgical records of patients with medial collateral ligament injury. So as to provide help for patients with multiple ligament injury in clinical work to judge whether the medial collateral ligament is ruptured or not. Methods:A total of 349 inpatients with medial collateral ligament injury due to trauma were selected from the First Central Hospital of Baoding from October 2014 to October 2020.All patients were examined by X-ray and MRI.According to the imaging data and intraoperative diagnosis, the patients with ligament injury were diagnosed and classified, and the cases of medial collateral ligament rupture(grade III injury)and medial collateral ligament non rupture(grade I and II injury)were counted, and the incidence of medial collateral ligament rupture was calculated. Objective to explore the relationship between the incidence of medial collateral ligament rupture and the number and types of multiple ligament injuries of knee joint.Results:1.There was significant difference in the incidence of medial collateral ligament rupture between single medial collateral ligament injury group(121cases)and multiple ligament injury group(228 cases).(χ~2=28.212,P=0.000<0.05,51.75%>22.31%)2.There were significant differences in the incidence of medial collateral ligament rupture among different number of multiple ligament injuries(χ~2=11.878,P=0.003<0.05);the results showed that there were significant differences among the three groups(all P<0.05),that is,the incidence of medial collateral ligament rupture:two ligament injury group(136 people,44.12%)<three ligament injury group(77 people,58.44%)There were 15 patients(86.67%)with less than 4 ligaments injury.3.In patients with 2 ligaments injury, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of medial collateral ligament fracture between different types of injury(χ~2=1.229,P=0.541>0.05).4.In patients with 3 ligaments injury, there was a statistically significant difference in the incidence of rupture of the medial collateral ligament by different injury types(χ~2=7.877,P=0.019<0.05).The three groups of variables were compared between two groups. The results showed that in the comparison of the incidence of medial collateral ligament rupture:the MCL,ACL,PCL injury group(36 people)and MCL,ACL,LCL injury group(21people)were significantly different(χ~2=4.366,P=0.037<0.05,75.00%>47.62%);the MCL,ACL,PCL injury group(36 people)and MCL,PCL,LCL injury group(20 people)were significantly different(χ~2=6.720,P=0.010<0.05,75.00%>40.00%)There was no significant difference between MCL,ACL,LCL injury group(n=21)and MCL,PCL,LCL injury group(n=20)(χ~2=0.241,P=0.623>0.05).Conclusion:In patients with medial collateral ligament injury, multiple ligament injury is more likely to cause medial collateral ligament rupture than single medial collateral ligament injury. With the increasing number of ligament injuries, the risk of medial collateral ligament rupture is also increasing. In patients with two ligament injuries, there was no significant difference in the incidence of medial collateral ligament rupture between different types of ligament injuries.Among the three ligament injury patients,MCL,ACL and PCL injury patients had the highest incidence of medial collateral ligament rupture. |
