Clinical Effect Of Acupoint Application Combined With Butalin Ointment In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint application combined with Futalin ointment in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,and to explore the effectiveness of acupoint application combined with Futalin ointment in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and the advantages of integrated Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis;It provides a new method for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis in clinic.Method:A total of 60 patients with KOA who met the criteria were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30cases).The self-made acupoints will be pasting on the affected side of Ashi,Zusanli,inner and outer kneyan,Dubi,Heding,Chengshan,Xuehai,Yanglingquan,Ganshu,Pishu and Shenshu acupoints.The patients were treated once a day for 3 hours each time for 2 weeks.After 2 weeks of treatment,VAS,WOMAC,Lysholm index score and total effective rate of the two groups were observed before and after treatment.SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data obtained from the two groups to evaluate and compare the short-term clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results:1.Before treatment,there were no statistical differences in VAS,WOMAC,Lysholm index scores and baseline data between the two groups(P >0.05),indicating comparability.2.Comparison between the two groups: after 2 weeks of treatment,VAS and WOMAC scores in the treatment group and the control group were lower than before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.001);Lysholm scores were higher than before treatment,the difference was also statistically significant(P < 0.001).3.Comparison between the two groups: after 2 weeks of treatment,VAS and WOMAC scores of patients in the two groups were compared,and the scores of patients in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).Lysholm scores of patients in the treatment group were compared,and the scores of patients in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.Comparison of clinical efficacy: after 2 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.66%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 83.33%,with statistical significance in the total effective rate difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupoint application combined with external application of butalin ointment and external application of butalin ointment alone have better short-term efficacy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.2.The overall efficacy of acupoint application combined with Futalin ointment external application in the treatment of KOA is significantly better than that of Futalin ointment external application alone,which provides a new idea for the clinical treatment of KOA.3.Acupoint application combined with Futalin ointment external application has obvious short-term efficacy in improving pain,swelling and dysfunction of knee joint,and significantly improves the quality of life of patients.
