Objective: To evaluate effect of short-term anticoagulant therapy on patency of internal fistula in the patients witn Arteriovenous Fistula(AVF).Methods: 112 patients with arteriovenous fistula were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.Patients in the experimental group began to use low molecular weight heparin on the first day of operation,4000 IU.per day Patients after discharge from hospital oral warfarin sodium tablets, dialysis day 1.25 mg,non-dialysis day 2.5 mg,total course of treatment for 4 weeks, the control group can not anticoagulant treatment, observe the two groups of patients within 6months after the fistula patency rate and adverse reactions occurred;Results:112 patients were enrolled in the study(53 in the experimental group and 59 in the control group). The thrombosis rate of the control group and the treatment group was 20.3% and 7.5% after 6 months of operation, the experimental group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05),There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05);Conclusion: Short-term anticoagulant therapy for patients with arteriovenous fistula can effectively improve the patency of internal fistula, promote the maturation of internal fistula, and use medicine safely.
