Objective:To explore the feasibility and repeatability of Surgimap software in the measurement of importantly cervical sagittal position parameters in patients with cervical spondylosis.Methods:In this research,four surveyors including 1 spine surgeon with more than 10 years of clinical experience and 3 graduate students respectively used Surgimap software method and the manual method to measure 40 patients with cervical spondylosis of cerical sagittal alignment parameters in June 2017 to December 2018.The parameters included: cervical curvature(C2-7cobb angle),C2-7 sagittal vertical axis(SVA),chin perpendicular angle(CBVA),T1 Angle(T1S),thoracic inlet Angle(TIA),neck Angle(NT).Four weeks later,the three graduate students who using manual method and software method respectively took the second measurement.The reliability analysis was performed for the measurement results of 4 surveyors in the first measurement,the repeatability analysis was performed for 2 measurement results of 3 graduate students,the independent sample t-test was used to compare the inter-group differences between the two methods in the first measurement,the difference in measurement time between the two methods was compared.Results:In the first measurement,all parameters measured by four surveyors who using Surgimap showed excellent or good consistency(The scope of ICC is 0.795-0.927).All parameters measured by the three graduate students who using Surgimap twice before and after also showed excellent or good consistency(The scope of ICC is 0.727-0.923).In the first measurement,compared with the two measurement of surveyors: p>0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant.The mean measurement time of manual method was 5.23 ± 0.61 min,the software method was 2.42± 0.49 min,p < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:Surgimap software is more efficient and accurate than traditional manual measurement method in measuring cervical vertebra related parameters.It is more convenient to store data and is suitable for clinical practice.
