Objection To analyze the clinical and pathological features, diagnosis and treatment methods and prognosis of adult patients with Xp11.2translocation/TFE3 fusion-associated renal cell carcinoma, and to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods Data of 12 adult patients with Xp11.2 translocation/TFE3fusion-associated renal cell carcinoma admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from June 2013 to December2020 were collected and the clinical manifestations, imaging and pathological features, treatment methods and prognosis of the disease were analyzed in combination with literatures. Results Postoperative pathological diagnosis of all 12 patients, including 5 males and 7 females, were Xp11.2 translocation/TFE3fusion-associated renal cell carcinoma. All 12 patients received surgical treatment including 9 cases of partial nephrectomy and 3 cases of radical nephrectomy.Postoperative follow-up for 6-90 months, recurrence was occurred in 2 cases and no recurrence or metastasis was occurred in the other 10 cases. Conclusion Xp11.2 translocation/TFE3 fusion-associated renal cell carcinoma is a relatively rare subtype of renal cell carcinoma.CT mainly showed low-density soft tissue shadow with uneven enhancement after enhancement.Partial nephrectomy is an effective method to treat patients with small and well-defined tumors.
