Objective: Objective to analyze and explore the related factors and treatment methods of electrical burn complicated with disturbance of c onsciousness,so as to provide reference for the treatment of electrical b urn. Methods: From September 1,2018 to August 31,2020,92 hospitalized patients with electrical burns were selected in the first hospital of Hebei Medical University. The patients who were discharged automatically without treatment due to personal reasons were excluded.According to the medical history of clinical cases, the social data and admission situation of patients were obtained. The treatment experience was summarized and the corresponding conclusions were drawn from the five aspects of gender, age, occupation, type of electrical burn and area of electrical burn.Results:1.Among the 92 cases,49 cases(53.5%)had disturbance of consci ousness and 43 cases(46.7%)had no disturbance of consciousness. The age, gender, type of electrical burn and burn area of the patients in th is group all affected whether the patients were accompanied with consci ousness disorder during the treatment, and the differences were statistica lly significant(P< 0.05).]The difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05).2.In terms of age,1(2.1%)of 92 cases of children and adolescent s(aged < 18 years)had consciousness disorder,40(81.6%)of middle-a ged and young people(aged 18-59 years)had consciousness disorder,a nd 8(16.3%)of elderly people(aged ≥ 60 years)had consciousness di sorder.3.In this group of patients,22(44.9%)of migrant workers suffered from electrical burns with consciousness disorder,21(42.9%)of worker s suffered from electrical burns with consciousness disorder,1(2.0%)of students suffered from electrical burns with consciousness disorder,1(2.0%)of staff suffered from electrical burns, and 4(8.2%)of unemplo yed residents suffered from electrical burns with consciousness disorder.4.In terms of gender,40 men(81.6%)had disturbance of conscious ness, and 9 women(18.4%)had disturbance of consciousness.5.In terms of the types of electrical burns,37(75.5%)of contact electrical burns were accompanied by disturbance of consciousness,and14(24.5%)of arc burns were accompanied by disturbance of conscious ness.6.In terms of electrical burn area, patients with burn area ≥ 50%TBSA were more likely to have consciousness disorder than patients wit h burn area < 50% TBSA.Among them,30 patients(61.2%)had burn area ≥ 50% TBSA accompanied with disturbance of consciousness, and 19 patients(38.8%)had burn area < 50% TBSA accompanied with dis turbance of consciousness.Conclusion:1.The disturbance of consciousness in patients with electrical burn i s affected by many factors. The results showed that age, gender, type o f electric burn and burn area all affected whether the patients had cons ciousness disorder during the treatment, and the differences were statisti cally significant(P< 0.05),while occupation type had little effect on whether the patients had consciousness disorder after injury, and the diff erence was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).2.In this group of cases, the causes of electric burns in young and middle-aged people are electric shock in labor production, and the volt age they are exposed to is high voltage.Compared with other age grou ps,the injured area and depth are larger and more serious, and the heal ing time is longer. Most of the people are in coma after injury, and ha ve shock during treatment, and the probability of wound infection is hi gher and higher.3.The main factors affecting whether a patient has concomitant diso rders of consciousness after electrical burn are the size of the burn area as well as the type of electrical burn, and prompt care can significantl y reduce the incidence of concomitant disorders of consciousness after e lectrical burn.4.Among women working in electricity related labour, men tend to work outdoors for special reasons more often than women, and among men having concomitant disorders of consciousness after electrical burn s more often than women.5.Electrical injuries are more complex and refractory to electrical tr auma than arc and electric spark burns with deeper wounds, concomitan t disorders of consciousness are more common in patients with electrica l injuries.
