questionnaire,the patients,professional caregivers and medical staff were randomly selected from 6 provincial Grade 3A hospitals.Focus on the awareness of accompany,the satisfaction of care workers and the actual situation of the reasons for the choice of family companionship.The semi-structured interviews were conducted with hospital care workers and business managers of third-party companion companies on the advantages and disadvantages of companion mode and suggestions for development and optimization.SPSS 21.0 was used for data analysis.Results: The hospitalized patients who chose professional care workers were more likely to be distributed in the factors such as female,elderly,widowed,high income,medical insurance for urban workers and so on.The human resource allocation structure of care workers is out of balance,and their overall age is too old,mainly distributed between 35 and 60 years old.At the same time,the length of accompanying service is relatively low,mostly within 5 years.Their educational background is concentrated in junior high school and below,and most of the professional care workers are from rural areas.In addition,there is a lack of unified and clear standards in the nursing industry in terms of recruitment,qualification examination,training content and training duration,certification of care workers,job assessment,graded promotion system,duration of accompany and fees,etc.83.8% of the patients want to be accompanied during hospitalization,while 56.3% most want family care,which fully reflects the current situation of patients’ high demand for companionship.At the same time,under the situation of indispensable family companionship,there is a great space for development and optimization.Patients agree that care workers’ accompany can reduce the pressure of family members and provide meticulous professional nursing.While patients get spiritual comfort through family care,some views are gradually agreed with,including the lack of medical knowledge of family members,which is not conducive to the unified management of hospital departments,and so on.In the companion mode,the care workers’ companion corresponds to the family companion,which mainly includes group non-accompany and professional care.Among which,the overall satisfaction of the medical staff and patients in the group non-accompany mode is higher than that in the professional care mode.In addition,the key factors affecting the satisfaction of non-accompany model are the age of nurses,the length of training and the length of daily care,while the fees,length of service and training of professional care are the key factors affecting the satisfaction of non-accompany mode.The improvement of the above related factors is a necessary step to improve the quality of care workers’ service.The core elements of the reasons why patients choose family care are psychological support and consideration of economic factors,while the emphasis of family selection of different patients is also different.So it is necessary to further integrate their inherent advantages and improve the realistic optimization of the implementation of the companion mode.Conclusion:1.The accompany demand of hospitalized patients is strong,the need of family companionship can not be ignored,and the accompany demand of care workers is also on the rise.We should neither overemphasize the benefits of care workers’ accompany mode to patients’ life care,nor blindly pay attention to the psychological support effect of family companionship mode to inpatients.We should summarize and integrate the commonness and advantages of the companion mode,and explore the implementation scheme of the accompany mode which is most suitable for the current national conditions and other practical factors,and take the feasibility of implementation as the principle,form the mode coexistence state of group type as the foundation of the model,affection and humanity as an important supplement,and professional accompany to meet the individual needs.2.While the hospital is committed to meeting the emotional needs of inpatients,it also needs to formulate regulatory mechanisms and policies that adapt to the reality of family care.Under the premise of ensuring a good medical environment in the ward,optimize the family care and visiting platform as much as possible.3.On the basis of the imbalance of the human resource allocation structure of professional care workers,the key factors affecting care workers’ accompanying satisfaction are professional training,accompanying expenses and accompanying hours care workers’ age and length of service.With the assistance and support of the third-party escort company,the hospital should strengthen the
