| Objective: To explore whether taking Huaier at the same time during radiotherapy and chemotherapy and long-term use of Huaier after radiotherapy and chemotherapy can improve the prognosis and quality of life of triple-negative breast cancer patients. Methods: The subject included 249 triple-negative breast cancer patients diagnosed for the first time in the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from January2009 to December 2016.Among them,131 patients were taking Huaier.118 patients do not take Huaier and their clinical data were collected. The prognosis of the patients was investigated and recorded through a combination of outpatient and telephone follow-up,information on relevant clinical indicators was collected, and toxic and side effects related to radiotherapy were analyzed. The 5-year DFS and OS of the patients were analyzed by the KM method. The single factors affecting the prognosis of the patients were analyzed by the Log-rank method. The multiple factors affecting the prognosis of the patients were analyzed by the COX regression model to obtain the protective factors and risks that affect the prognosis and quality of life of the patients.Factors, and conduct survival analysis on meaningful subgroups. Results: The results of COX regression analysis showed that the use of Huaier granules was a protective factor for the prognosis and survival of patients with triple-negative breast cancer after radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The results of subgroup analysis were significantly different(P<0.05).At the same time, the prognosis of patients who took Huaier granules continuously for more than 3 months was better than that of patients who took Huaier granules concurrently during radiotherapy, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Huaier granules have protective effects on triple-negative breast cancer in different groups, and patients who have been taking the drug for more than 3 months will benefit more. |
