Objective: To study the relationship between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D level and disease activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods: A total of 241 outpatients and hospitalized RA patients in the First Affiliated Hospital and the Se-cond Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and 240 healthy physical examination populations matching gender and age were collected, and the serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels in the case group and the healthy physical examination g-roup were determined.,And collect patient general information,C-reactive protein (CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),body mass index(BMI),rheumatoid factor(RF),anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody(anti-CCP antibody),platelet di-stribution width(PDW),red blood cell distribution width(RDW),serum osteocalci-n,D-dimer(D-D),antistreptolysin o(ASO),number of swollen joints(SJC28),number of tender joints(TJC28)and DAS28 score, etc.Statistical analysis of clinical data. Results: 35% of 241 RA patients lacked 25 OHD.The 25 OHD level of the RA group was significantly lower than that of the healthy physical examination gro-up(P<0.01);the 25 OHD level of RA patients with different disease activities wa-s also different. The higher the DAS28 score, the lower the 25 OHD level,25 OHD level is negatively correlated with the disease activity of RA patients;there are significantly more female RA patients than males, the ratio is about 4:1,and the 2-5OHD level of men is higher than that of women;the serum 25 OHD level is cor-related with the CRP of RA patients(r=-0.050,P=0.436),anti-CCP antibody(r=-0.473,P<0.05),RF positive rate(r=-0.092,P=0.155),ASO(r=-0.016,P=0.806),SJC28(r=-0.735,P<0.01),TJC28(r=-0.728,P<0.01),DAS28 score(r=-0.250,P<0.01),RDW(r=0.015,P=0.015),serum osteocalcin(r=0.375,P<0.01)re-lated.Conclusion: The 25 OHD level of patients with rheumatoid arthritis is signif-icantly lower than that of the healthy physical examination group, and is related to disease activity;RA patients with high anti-CCP antibodies, high SJC28,high TJ-C28,high DAS28 score, low blood calcium, and low RDW are all It may be an important factor in evaluating 25 OHD level and RA disease activity.
