Simulation Study On The Effect Of Outpatient Space Layout On Medical Efficiency

The process of urbanization increases the closeness between buildings.As a special public building,the spatial quality of medical buildings has been paid more and more attention by people.With the development of the society,medical technology is developing continuously,and the patients who come to the hospital have more demands on medical resources,which inevitably leads the managers to think about improving the efficiency of patient treatment.From the perspective of project management,the space layouts of hospital affect the efficiency of medical institutions excepting elements related to medical technology.In this paper,the influence of spatial layout on medical efficiency was studied by static analysis,dynamic analysis,modeling and simulation taking Jiangsu Women and Children Hospital as a case.In this paper,the functional orientation and function-based spatial layout of the outpatient department of the Women and Children Hospital were extracted from the background knowledge.After clarifying the entity classification of physical space,the corresponding relationship between the consultation links and the spatial attributes was summarized based on the treatment process of the Women and Children Hospital.Secondly,the classification of outpatient layout mode was sorted out,and the advantages and disadvantages of spatial layout of reconstruction and expansion scheme were analyzed by spatial syntax,and the analysis results were mapped to the advantages and disadvantages of spatial combination mode.Then,through the dynamic streamline analysis method,the patient’s streamline was identified,and the streamline length of different spatial layout and the speed of patients passing through each space were compared.Finally,Arena software was used as the analysis platform and the spatial layout difference was taken as the only variable to analyze the impact of different spatial layouts on the efficiency of medical treatment through simulation.The research results show that different spatial layout pattern has its own advantages and disadvantages,this is in the static analysis and dynamic analysis can get good reflected,and Ting Lang type layout model streamline length is longer than the Jie Xiang layout,the overall clinical time slightly higher than the Jie Xiang layout,but the wait time significantly less than the Jie Xiang layout,overall Ting Lang type layout in this case the sufferings of the efficiency and the patient’s experience could be higher.
