Objective To systematically evaluate the clinical effectiveness, movement symptoms and non-motor symptoms and security of acupuncture in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and provide evidence-based medicine for clinical acupuncture treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Methods The randomized or half a randomized controlled trial of acupuncture in treatment of Parkinson’s disease which had been published at home and abroad before August 2015 were included by computer retrieval PubMed,the Cochrane Library,Embase,OVID,MEDLINE,ISI database(web of science),the Chinese biomedical literature database(CBM),China academic journal full-text database(CNKI),Chinese journal full-text database of science and technology(VIP),WanFang database(WangFang)and combined with manual retrieval related magazines.Researches quality was evaluated by bias risk assessment tool of Cochrane Handbook 5.3.0 and Jadad scale. The data was analyzed by Revman 5.3 software. Results 42 studies involving 2408 participants were contained in the meta-analysis.The quality of the Included research literature is relatively low according to the assessment results which were evaluated by bias risk assessment tool of Cochrane Handbook 5.3.0 and Jadad scale.According to the use frequency of acupoints,LR3、LI3、GB20、GV20、GB34、the Chorea-Trembling Controlled Area are the commonly used effective acupuncture point.According to meridians of the main acupoints, the Du meridian, the Gallbladder meridian, the Liver meridian, the large Intestine meridian, the Stomach meridian and the’ Gallbladder meridian are treated as main meridians.Meta-analysis tip:in the effectiveness evaluation level, the acupuncture plus western medicine and western medicine have a statistically significant difference on clinical effectiveness, which were statistically significant(RR=1.35,95%CI[1.23,1.48],P<0.01),indicating that acupuncture plus western medicine clinical effectiveness is better than that of pure with western medicine intervention; In motor symptoms improve evaluating level, the differences of sports symptom scores between acupuncture plus western medicine and western medicine, acupuncture and sham acupuncture were statistically significant(MD=4.10,95%CI[3.41,4.80],P<0.01;MD=18.10,95%CI[5.89,30.31],P<0.01),shows that in the treatment of Parkinson’s symptoms, acupuncture plus western medicine is superior to pure western medicine therapy, and acupuncture is superior to sham acupuncture therapy; In the non-motor symptoms improve evaluating level,it has the obvious curative effect for acupuncture treatment of the non-motor symptoms improvement of depression, sleep disorders, constipation, spirit, behavior and mood, daily life movement,complications(P<0.01).In 42 RCT experiment, the incidence of adverse events of acupuncture(3.02%),is significantly lower than western medicine intervention(8.62%),hints of acupuncture treatment of Parkinson’s disease is a kind of the relative safety of the intervention measures.Conclusion(1)LR3、LI3、GB20、GV20、GB34、the Chorea-Trembling Controlled Area are the commonly used effective acupuncture point for treatment of Parkinson’s disease. The Du meridian, the Gallbladder meridian, the Liver meridian, the large Intestine meridian, the Stomach meridian and the Gallbladder meridian are treated as main meridians for the most commonly used treatment;(2)Acupuncture can obviously improve the movement symptoms and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, and the adverse reaction is little;(3)Current evidence suggests that acupuncture treatment of Parkinson’s disease has good curative effect.Because of the low quality of the related literature,we need design high quality of multicenter and large sample RCT research to report in the future.
