| Objective To observe the effect of nape acupuncture and in combination with rehabilitation training of swallowing function on curative effect and quality of life in stroke patients with dysphagia.Methods Totally 100 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomized into a conventional treatment group and a nape acupuncture group,with 50 in each.In the control group,on the basis of general medication,the rehabilitation training of swallowing function was applied.The control group received the rehabilitation training for 5 times a week and 8 weeks in total.In the experiment group,on the basic treatment as the control group,nape acupuncture was given.The nape acupuncture was given 30 minutes each time and 5 times a week lasting 8 weeks.The assessment date were collected at baseline and 8 weeks post-treatment.The outcome were measured by the RSST,WST,SSA and SWAL-QOL.The relation between the age,the course of disease,the frequency of stroke,pathogenic site and the curative effect was also studied.Results It was comparable in gender,age,course of disease,the frequency of stroke,pathogenic site and the baseline between two groups(P>0.05).After eight-week treatment,the improvements in the RSST,WST,SSA,SWAL-QOL were all superior to those before treatment for the patients in the two groups(P<0.05).And the experiment group was much better than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 91.67%in the experiment group,which was higher than 75.51%in the control group,indicating the significantly statistical difference between the two groups.The curative effect didn’t related with pathogenic site,but related with the age,the course of disease and the frequency of stroke.Conclusion Nape acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training can improve swallowing function and quality of life of patients after stroke.The clinical efficacy is better than simple rehabilitation training group.The method is effective and safe. |
