Studies On Lipid-lowering And Reducing Weight Effect Of Total Flavonoid Aglycon From The Leaves Of Carya Cathayensis

Objective To study on lipid-lowering and reducing weight effect of the Total Flavonoid Aglycon from the leaves of carya cathayensis(TFA)about the normal ICR mice,the fat C57 mice and the hyperglycemia model of SD rats,to provide the experimental basis about further development and application of TFA,Methods 1.The normal male and female ICR mice,through the basically feeding,giving them different dose of TFA and simvastatin by lavaging,and then testing the body weight,the body length,the visceral index,the fat index,RBC,WBC,PLT,TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,GLU,GPT,GOT,SOD,MDA physiological and biochemical indicators and visceral adipose tissue paraffin section,to search TFA whether it is useful to normal ICR mice body weight,fat index,lipid effects and poison effects or not.2.Using high fat fodder to feed female C57 mice,to create the obesity model,giving them different dose of TFA and simvastatin by lavaging,and then testing the body weight,the body length,the liver index,the fat index,TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,SOD,MDA physiological and biochemical indicators and adipose tissue paraffin section,to search TFA whether it is effective to reduce weight and blood lipid or not.3.Using high fat fodder to lavage the SD rats to create the model of the hyperlipidemia model,normal SD rats are control group,and then giving them different dose of TFA and Simvastatin by lavaging,testing the body weight,the Lee s index,TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,SOD,MDA physiological and biochemical and lipid peroxidation indicators,to test TFA whether it is available to reduce weight and blood lipid or not.Results 1.TFA is useless to the body weight,the body length,the visceral index,the fat index,the blood cells including red cells,white cells and platelet,the blood lipid and the function of liver of the male ICR mice,and the body length,the liver index,the blood cells,and the function of liver of the female ICR mice,while it is effective to reduce the body weight and the fat index.We find that liver tissue biopsies are no apparent changes,indicating that TFA has no obvious poison effects to the ICR mice liver.2.TFA can be available to reduce body weight,fat index,and TC,TG,LDL-C in blood lipid,and to improve the HDL-C in blood lipid of the fat C57 mice-We also find the adipose tissue biopsies,adipose cells of the fat C57 mice of model group are bigger and denser than other groups,and adipose cells of the different dose of TFA are less than model group.3.TFA can be useful to reduce body weight,fat index,and TC,TG,LDL-C in blood lipid,and to improve the HDL-C in blood lipid on the hyperlipidemia model SD rats.It also can increase the lever of SOD,MDA in the blood serum.Conclusion 1.TFA is effective to reduce the body weight and the fat,and it is good to health about the blood lipid of the female ICR mice,at the same time it does not affect the body length and the function of viscera.2.TFA is available to reduce the body weight and the fat,and it is good at adjusting the blood lipid lever on fat female C57 mice.It can reduce the lever of TC,TG and LDL-C,and improve the lever of HDL-C,and it can protect the liver.3.TFA can reduce the body weight and the fat on the hyperlipidemia model SD rats and improve the lever of TC,TG,LDL-C and MDA,improve the lever of HDL-C and SOD in the blood,cut down the lever of TC,TG,GPT,GOT and MDA,increase the lever of SOD in the liver.It also has the ability of protecting the liver.
