Studies On Chemical Constituents Of Aerial Parts Of Sophora Alopecuroides Linn

Sophora alopecuroides L.is also called bitter bean grass,bitter licorice.It belongs to Sophora of the family Leguminosae herbs,mainly distributed in Gansu,Ningxia and Xinjiang.Chemical components mainly contain alkaloids,flavonoids,coumarin,et al.It is a traditional medicinal herb of Kazakh nationality in Xinjiang,which mainly treats damp-heat dysentery,gynecological diseases and skin pruritus.The chemical constituents of the aerial part of Sophora alopecuroides L.were systematically studied in this experiment.The aeria parts of dried Sophora alopecuroides L.were extracted by 70% ethanol thermal reflux extraction method.The extracts were extracted in turn according to polarity.The different polar were separated and purified by silica gel column chromatography,polyamide column chromatography and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography.Twenty compounds were separated and identified,as n-trihexadecanoic acid(1),n-hexadecanol(2),β-sitosterol(3),stigmasterol(4),betulinic acid(5),7,4’-dihydroxy-3’-methoxyisoflavone(6),prunetin(7),5,4’-dihydroxy-3’,7-dimethoxyisoflavone(8),isocupressic acid(9),stigmasterol-3-O-β-D-glucoside(10),glycerol monovalerate(11),trifolirhizin(12),genistein(13),apigenin(14),aesculetin(15),rutin(16),genistein 7-O-β-D-glucoside(17),genistein-7-O-β-D-xylopyranose(1→6)-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(18),3’,4’,5,7-tetrahydroxyisoflavone(19),cinnamic acid(20).Among them,compounds 6,7,8,12,13,14,16,17,18,19 are flavonoids;compounds 3,4,10 belong to steroids;compounds 5,9 are terpenoids;compound 15 belong to coumarins;compound 20 is phenylpropionic acid;Compounds 1,2,11 belong to aliphatic compounds.Among them,1,2,5,8,9,10,11,15,18,19,20 were isolated from Sophora alopecuroides L.for the first time,and 1,2,5,9,11,15,18,19 from Sophora for the first time.In this paper,the chemical composition,pharmacological action and application status of Sophora alopecuroides L.were reviewed.Through the study of this experiment,we hope to provide theoretical support for the drug development of the Sophora alopecuroides L.
