The Regularity Of Medication For Treating Palpitation By Professor Liu Guirong Based On The Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System

Objective:This study collects and sorts out the medical cases of treating palpitation with Professor Liu Guirong,and inputs into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5)to get the data.According to the data,we analyze and summarize the clinical experience of palpitation with Professor Liu Guirong,and elaborate his thoughts and characteristics of clinical medication in the treatment of palpitation.Methods:The study is conducted through the following steps:(1)Collecting and sorting out 100 cases of palpitation treated by Professor Liu Guirong.(2)Constructing the database according to the diagnostic criteria in references “Chinese traditional internal medicine”and “Criteria for Diagnosis and Therapeutic Effect of Diseases and Syndromes in Traditional Chinese Medicine”.(3)Inputting the data into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5).(4)Entering the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5)to analyze the statistical data.(5)Summarizing the regularity and experience in treating palpitations with Professor Liu Guirong.Results:The use of drugs’ frequency from high to low in sequence are: Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri),Guizhi(Ramulus Cinnamomi),Zhigancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata),Danggui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis),Huangqi(Radix Astragaliseu Hedysari),Renshen(Radix Ginseng),Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae),Huangqin(Radix Scutellariae),Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis),Chaobaishao(Radix Paeoniae Alba),Fuling(Poria),Chenpi(Pericarpium Cirri Reticulatae),Muli(Concha Ostreae),Longgu(Os Draconis),Zhihuangqi(Radix Astragaliseu Hedysari Preparata),etc.Drug’s properties,flavors and meridians: Warm drugs’ frequency is the highest among the study,followed by cold and calm drugs;the distribution of five flavors is relatively concentrated in three categories: sweet,bit and hot;the use of spleen meridian appears to be the highest in frequency,followed by liver meridian and lung meridian.Prescription’s law: A total of 32 combinations are obtained,including :"Guizhi(Ramulus Cinnamomi)-Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri)","Zhigancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata)-Guizhi(Ramulus Cinnamomi)","Danggui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis)-Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri)","Zhigancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata)-Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri),etc.Including 13 kinds of Chinese Medicine:Guizhi(Ramulus Cinnamomi),Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri),Zhigancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata),Danggui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis),Renshen(Radix Ginseng),Huangqi(Radix Astragaliseu Hedysari),Chaobaishao(Radix Paeoniae Alba),Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae),Fuling(Poria),Huangqin(Radix Scutellariae),Longgu(Os Draconis),Muli(Concha Ostreae),etc.New prescriptions: Four new prescriptions are obtained.Including Zhuru(Caulis Bambusae in Taenia)＿Dannanxing(Rhizoma Arisaematis Cum Bile)＿Huanglian(Rhizoma Coptidis)＿Duanwalengzi(Concha Arcae),Gouteng(Ramulus Uncariaecum Uncis)＿Tianma(Rhizoma Gastrodiae)＿Renshen(Radix Ginseng)＿Shouwuteng(CaulisPolygoni Multiflori)＿Baiziren(Semen Platycladi),Zhiqiao(Fructus Aurantii)＿Yanhusuo(Rhizoma Corydalis)＿Zhuling(Polyporus)＿Cheqianzi(Semen Plantaginis)＿Chixiaodou(Semen Leveloli),Dannanxing(Rhizoma Arisaematis Cum Bile)＿Chenpi(Pericarpium Cirri Reticulatae)＿Fabanxia(Rhizoma Pinelliae)＿Fushen(Sclerotium Poriae Circum Radicem Pini)＿Huangqin(Radix Scutellariae)＿Cishi(Magnetitum)＿Longgu(Os Draconis).Symptoms: The symptoms with higher frequency are palpitation,fatigue,dark tongue,distress,chest tightness,pulse string,chills,sweating,and so on.Summarizing common syndrome types of palpitation such as ‘Zhongqixiaxianzheng’,‘Ganyuqizhizheng’,‘Danhuoraoxinzheng’,‘Xinshenyangxuzheng’,‘Shuiyinshangfanzheng’,‘Tanshizuzhizheng’,‘Qiyinliangxuzheng’ with their therapy and prescription.Conclusions:The most common syndrome type in treating palpitation by professor Liu Guirong is Zhongqixiaxianzheng,followed by Ganyuqizhizheng.Professor Liu Guirong used the basic guiding ideology of "Buzhongyiqi" to treat palpitation based on his long-term clinical experience and seasoned with "Shuganjieyu".Buzhongyiqi soup is his commonly used prescription.In the prescription,Huangqi(Radix Astragaliseu Hedysari)is the most important herb-medicine,with a conventional dose of30～100g.Cold limbs powder is his second commonly used prescription.In the prescription,Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri)is the most important herb-medicine,with a conventional dose of 10～20g.
