Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect and the recurrence and trend toward turn-round of head-face acupoint combined with body touch hypnosis on Emotional disorder after stroke(mild to moderate),we try to find a safe and effective method for early treatment and blocking progress of Emotional disorder after stroke in order to interrupt the progress of Emotional disorders after stroke, promoting stroke rehabilitation. Methods: Ninety-two patients with Post-stroke emotional disorder who met the criteria were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was given routine psychological comfort, while the experimental group was given head-face acupoint(Rose essential oil is used for transdermal absorption during acupoint pricking)combined with body touch hypnosis.Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Simplified Fugl-Meyer Motor Function Assessment Scale,Activity of Daily Life Assessment Scale(ADL)and Chinese Medicine Symptoms Scale were used to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups at different time points before and after treatment. After 4 weeks, the difference of clinical efficacy between the two groups was observed. The patients were followed up for 3 months after stopping treatment to understand the current condition of the patients, calculate the recurrence rate and turn-round rate, and make statistical evaluation.Results:1.In the study, seven patients dropped out or removed due to loss of connection or midcourse medication,85 Patients completed the treatment. There was no significant difference in age, sex, course of disease and scores before treatment between the two grou Ps(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.The clinical effective rate, recurrence rate and turn-round rate were 80.9%,17.6% and 55.2% in the experimental group and 60.5%,42.3% and 28.9% in the control group, respectively. The efficiency and turn-round rate of the experimental group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the recurrence rate was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.HAMD and HAMA scores: The comparison scores of the two groups were reduced in varying degrees(P<0.01),and the HAMD comparison group was better than the control group(P<0.05),and the HAMA comparison group was evidently better than the control group(P<0.01).4.Fugl-Meyer and ADL scores: The scores in both groups were improved(P < 0.01).The Fugl-Meyer score in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in ADL score between the two groups(P>0.05).5.TCM Symptom Score: The improvement of symptoms of depression, agitation, panic, fatigue, dizziness, insomnia and dreams in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.01).6.Safety evaluation: There were no adverse reactions during the experiment in both groups. There was no obvious abnormality in liver and kidney function. Conclusions: It can effectively improve the symptoms and accompanying symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness and insomnia in patients with post-stroke emotional disorder(mild to moderate),and even achieve recovery by penetrating rose essential oil during head-face acupoint into body touch hypnosis. The low recurrence rate and the tendency to turn-round after cessation of treatment can block the progression of the disease. At the same time,it can improve the patients’ rehabilitation enthusiasm and promote the recovery of the overall function of stroke patients.
