Clinical Observation Of Qiwei Baihzu Powder In Treating FD Overlapping IBS-D With Spleen Deficiency And Qi Stagnation

Objective:To explore the clinical effect and mechanism of Qiwei Baizhu Powder in the treatment of spleen deficiency qi stagnation syndrome with functional dyspepsia overlapping diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome,and to provide a new way of thinking and theoretical basis for clinical treatment.Methods:From October 2017 to October 2018,60 patients including outpatients and inpatients who met the inclusion criteria were selected from the Department of Digestive Endoscope,affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese Medicine.and the Department of Digestive,Qianfoshan Attatched Hospitai of Shandong University.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Qiwei Baizhu Powder,the control group was treated with Rabeprazole sodium enteric-coated capsule and piveronium bromide tablets.The treatment cycle of the two groups was 4 weeks.The symptoms were scored at 0 and 4 weeks respectively.The patients in the two groups who were cured,effective were followed up again by telephone at the 4th week after the end of the treatment cycle.Observing the changes of symptom score,general clinical effect,relapse and adverse reactions before and after treatment in both groups.To explore the efficacy of Qiwei Baizhu Powder in the treatment of(FD)overlapping diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D)with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation.Result:(1)There was no significant difference between the two groups in the basic information and the score of symptoms.The scores of symptoms before treatment didn’t have significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)There was significant difference between the two groups in defecation sensation(P<0.05),and in the improvement of stool residue symptoms(P<0.01).The treatment group was better than the control group.In other symptoms,both groups have obvious curative effect,and the effect is similar.(3)The total effective rate of the trial group and control group are 93.33 and 90.00.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),but the effective rate in the treatment group is 76.67 which is higher than 46.67 in the control group.The P value of two groups was 0.018,which indicated that there was no significant difference in the total effective rate of FD overlapping IBS-D with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation,but the improvement of symptom score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.(4)The recurrence rate of treatment group was 32.14 and that of control group was 65.38(P<0.05),which indicated that Qiwei Baizhu decoction could effectively reduce the recurrence rate of FD overlapping IBS-D with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation.(5)No adverse reactions were found in either group during the study.Conclusion:Qiwei Baizhu Powder can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of the patients with FD overlapping IBS-D to spleen deficiency and qi stagnation,and can significantly reduce the recurrence rate of the patients,and the safety is high,which can provide new ideas for clinical treatment.It is worth further popularizing.
