| ObjectiveObjective: To investigate the relationship between the development of cerebral ischemic stroke(CIS)and Hyperhomocysteinemia(HHcy)MethodsMETHODS: 26 patients with CIS treated in our hospital from September 2016 to September 2018 were selected as the CIS group, while 100 healthy subjects were selected as the control group. The serum Hcy levels of all subjects were measured by circulating enzyme method, and the two groups were compared. The proportion of patients with high Hcyemia in patients and the related indexes of vascular endothelial function in the 126 selected CIS patients with high Hcy subgroup and normal Hcy subgroup: endothelial nitric oxide synthase(endothelial nitric oxide synthase,e NOS,nitric oxide(NO),rate of change in blood vessel inner diameter(FMD)after reactive hyperemia,intima-media thickness(IMT)of carotid artery, and related indicators of neurological deficit at admission: Barthel Index(Barthel index BI)score and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score. In the control group, the proportion of clinical features such as headache, insomnia, gastrointestinal upset, anxiety, and depression was compared between the high Hcy subgroup and the normal Hcy subgroup.ResultsThe Hcy level and the ratio of Hcy level greater than 15 μmol / L in the CIS group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).The e NOS,NO,and FMD levels in the high Hcy subgroup were significantly lower in the 126 patients selected in the CIS group than in the normal Hcy subgroup, and the IMT value was higher than that in the normal Hcy subgroup. The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Among the 126 selected patients in the CIS group, the NIHSS score of the high Hcy subgroup was significantly higher than that of the normal Hcy subgroup, and the BI score was significantly lower than that of the normal Hcy subgroup. The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The proportion of patients with headache, anxiety, depression, and gastrointestinal discomfort in the high Hcy subgroup in the control group was significantly higher than that in the normal Hcy subgroup, and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusions(1)High Hcy is related to the occurrence and development of CIS and its severity.(2)Impaired vascular endothelial function is involved in the mechanism of CIS caused by high Hcy.(3)people with headache, stomach upset, insomnia, anxiety symptoms should be alert to high Hcy,and early intervention should be prevented to prevent CIS. |
