| Objective:Evaluate the current situation of TCM health care literacy and health status of the elderly in the community,analyze the correlation between TCM health care literacy and health status,and finally explore the factors affecting the health status of the elderly.to provide reference and reference for improving the health literacy and health status of the elderly.Methods:This study belongs to the cross-sectional survey method of non-experimental research.From June to October,2019,315 elderly people who met the inclusion criteria in one community health service center and one community activity center for the elderly in yanji city were selected as the research objects,and the effective rate of the questionnaire was 96%.The research tools included general information questionnaire,Chinese medicine health care literacy questionnaire and health status scale(sf-36).The data were statistically analyzed by spss19.0,and the general data,TCM health care literacy and health status of the research objects were described by frequency,constituent ratio,mean and standard deviation respectively,and the differences in general data of TCM health care literacy and health status of the elderly in the community were compared by t-test or analysis of variance.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between TCM health care literacy and health status of the elderly in the community.Results:(1)The average score of the study subjects’ health care literacy was(92.77±15.05)points,and the score was(73.05±11.85)points after standardized calculation.51.4%of the subjects had TCM bealth care literacy.In the five dimensions of TCM health care literacy,the basic knowledge and concept of health care literacy were divided into(27.96±3.20)points,healthy lifestyle and behavior were divided into(29.59±6.44)points,health care methods were divided into(18.23±4.69)points,and health care contents were divided into(17.00±4.97)points.After the standardization of the scores of the four dimensions,the order from high to low is:basic knowledge and concept of health care literacy,healthy lifestyle and behavior,health care methods,and health care contents.There were significant differences in the general data of age,gender,marital status,education level,medical work experience,family monthly income,and chronic disease,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The research subjects who are aged 65～69,female,master’s degree or above,have engaged in medical work,and have a monthly income of more than 10,000 yuan.The research subjects who have no chronic diseases have relatively high quality of TCM health care.(2)The average score of the health status of the subjects was(112.24±14.03).Compared with the domestic norm,the health status of the subjects was lower than that of the domestic norm in five dimensions:physiological function,general health,body pain,physiological function and emotional intelligence.There were significant differences in the health status of the subjects in terms of age,gender,occupation they had been engaged in,and whether they had chronic diseases or not,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Subjects aged between 60 and 64 years old,female,teachers and without chronic diseases had relatively high health status.(3)Pearson correlation analysis of the total score of TCM health care literacy,scores of each dimension and health status of the research object showed that there was a positive correlation between TCM health care literacy and health status(r=0.182,P<0.05),Lifestyle and behavior(r=0.182,P<0.05),health care contents(r=0.150,P<0.05),and health care methods(r=0.131,P<0.05)were positively correlated with health status.Conclusion:(1)51.4%of the subjects had health care literacy of traditional Chinese medicine.The research object has high health care accomplislunent of traditional Chinese medicine.Among the study subjects,the elderly in the community who are female,aged from 65 to 69 years old,have a high degree of education,have engaged in medical work and have a high family income have a high score in health care literacy of traditional Chinese medicine,and have a good level of health care literacy of traditional Chinese medicine.It is clear that age,chronic diseases and TCM health care literacy are the influencing factors of health status.(2)Among the research subjects,women,those aged 60-64 years old,teachers,and subjects without chronic diseases had higher health status indexes and better health status.(3)There is a positive correlation between the health care quality and the health status of the elderly in the community.The higher the level of health care elements in the community,the better the health status. |
