ObjectiveQiu Qingzhong,professor of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and instructor of famous Traditional Chinese medicine in Guangdong province,treated Knee Osteoarthritis with Five Finger Point Massage on the basis of the experience of "Three Zang,Three Causes and Six methods".This study will analyze the mechanism of action and clinical effect of Five Finger Point Massage in the treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis,further evaluate the practicability of Five Finger Point Massage in the treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis,and provide effective evidence for the standardized operation and clinical promotion of Five Finger Point Massage.MethodsA total of 60 patients with Knee Osteoarthritis were divided into treatment group and control group with 30 patients each.The control group was assisted with Diclofenac Sodium Enteric-coated Tablets application of tarin on the pain points of knee joint.The treatment group was treated with Five Finger Point Massage therapy,and the two groups were treated for 2 weeks respectively.VAS score,Lysholm knee score,WOMAC knee score and TCM syndrome score were used before and after treatment for the two groups of patients,respectively,to evaluate the clinical effect of Five Finger Point Massage treatment for Knee Osteoarthritis.The basic information and related scoring data of the two groups of patients were statistically analyzed.Results1.Among the 30 patients in the treatment group,the clinical efficacy was as follows:6 patients were ineffective,19 were effective,3 were effective and 2 were controlled.The Five Finger Point Massage total effective rate was 80.00%.Diclofenac Sodium Enteric-coated external use group of 30 patients,the clinical efficacy was as follows:invalid 14 cases,effective 14 cases,obvious effect 2 cases and control 0 cases.Diclofenac Sodium Enteric-coated total effective rate of the control group was 53.33%.There was a significant difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05),and the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.2.VAS pain score,Lysholm knee score,WOMAC knee score and TCM syndrome score before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05).It indicates that the Five Finger Point Massage kneading method and Diclofenac Sodium Enteric-coated external therapy have obvious effect on Knee Osteoarthritis,which can alleviate the joint pain caused by Knee Osteoarthritis and improve the movement of the affected knee joint.3.VAS pain score after treatment was compared between the Five Finger Point Massage group and the Diclofenac Sodium Enteric-coated group(P>0.05),indicating that the Five Finger Point Massage method had no advantage over Diclofenac Sodium Enteric-coated in improving pain.After treatment,Lysholm knee score,WOMAC knee score and TCM syndrome score of the Five Finger Point Massage group and the Diclofenac Sodium Enteric-coated external treatment group were compared(P<0.05),indicating that the Five Finger Point Massage method was superior to Diclofenac Sodium Enteric-coated terms of knee motion and overall clinical efficacy for patients with Knee Osteoarthritis.ConclusionThe treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis by Five Finger Point Massage has a significant effect,which can effectively reduce the joint pain caused by Knee Osteoarthritis and improve the range of motion of patients with knee osteoarthritis.This treatment method is safe,economical and simple,and worthy of promotion and application in the treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis.
