| Objective:Analyze the difference of clinical characteristics between positive and negative serum autoantibodies in patients with anti-NMDAR encephalitis.Methods:38 patients, hospitalized in or outpatients of the Department of Neurology or pediatrics of the First or Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from June 2018 to November 2019,were collected retrospectively. The general data, clinical symptoms and signs, biochemical data of serum and cerebrospinal fluid, imageology examination etc.of the patients were collected. Those cases, according to whether the serum autoimmune antibody is positive, are divided into positive group and negative group. The difference of the general data, clinical characteristics, biochemical data of serum and cerebrospinal fluid, imageology examination are compared and analyzed between the two groups.Results:(1)the proportion of patients with headache or speech disorder or hallucination in the positive group is higher than that in the negative group respectively(P<0.05).(2)CSF protein,CSF albumin and CRP in the positive group are lower than those in the negative group(P<0.05).(3)the comparison of age, gender, fever, memory impairment, epileptic attack, decrease of computational power/comprehension,character change, motor impairment, consciousness impairment, serum albumin, albumin quotient,CSF IgG,CSF sugar,CSF chlorine, leukocyte, neutrophil absolute value, neutrophil percentage, monocyte absolute value, monocyte percentage, lymphocyte absolute value, lymphocyte percentage,ESR,C-reactive protein, complement C3,complement C4,total T cell percentage,CD4~+T cell,CD8~+T cell,CD4~+/CD8~+were no significant difference beteween the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:the patients in the positive group are more likely to have headache, speech disorder and hallucination than those in the negative group, but no significant difference of the peripheral inflammatory reaction is found compare to the nagetive groups. |
