Analysis Of 18 Cases Of EBV-associated T/NK Cell Lymphoproliferative Diseases:the Clinical And Pathological Features

Objective: To analyze the clinical and pathological features of 18 cases of EBV-associated T/NK cell lymphoproliferative diseases,and to further understand the disease.Methods: We have analyzed retrospectively the clinical and pathological features of 18 patients with EBV-associated T/NK lymphoproliferative diseases.All the issue wax blocks of the 18 patients and peripheral blood of 4 patients were collected.EBV in situ hybridization was carried out on the peripheral blood and tissue wax blocks.The peripheral blood of 18 patients of insect bite dermatitis,13 patients of acne like Bryozoa,7 patients of EBV DNA or antibody positive,weak positive or pathological tissue EBERs positive and a case of healthy people as the control group.In order to analyze the clinical and histopathological features of 18 patients of EBV-associated T/NK cell lymphoproliferative diseases,and to further understand the disease.Results:In all the cases,6 patients diagnosed as Hydroa vacciniforme-like lymphoproliferative disorder showed that lymphoid cells had none or mild heteromorphism or mitosis.12 patients diagnosed as Extranodal natural killer/T-cell lymphoma,nasal type showed that a single abnormal lymphocyte infiltration,pathological mitosis,coagulative necrosis and vascular infiltration.All the EBV in situ hybridization were positive.4 patients of peripheral blood mononuclear cell,3 patients were positive,the other was negative.In the control group,among the result of EBV in situ hybridization of18 patients with insect bite dermatitis,2 were positive,the rest were negative,and the group of pityriasis lichenoides were negative.The result of EBV in situ hybridization in the group of peripheral blood was negative.Conclusions:1.In the EBV-associated T/NK cell lymphoproliferative diseases,there is a correlation between the intensity of EBV infection and the invasiveness of lymphocytes.2.The EBV-associated T/NK cell lymphoproliferative diseases,especially Hydroa vacciniforme-like lymphoproliferative disorder,which do not need overtreatment,but we should think highly of long-term follow-up.EBV infection in peripheral blood lymphocytes can be used as one of the monitoring indexes.
