ObjectiveThis study is to observe the clinical efficacy of Filiform-fire Needle in the treatment of Cervicoshoulder Myofascial Pain Syndrome(CMPS)with a clinical research method and medical statistics software, and provide reliable evidence for clinical treatment of Cervicoshoulder Myofascial Pain Syndrome by the evaluation of The McGill Pain Questionnaire(SF-MPQ),Neck Disabiliy Index(NDI)and the Symptoms and Signs Scale of Injured Soft Tissues.MethodsFrom January 2019 to October 2019,60 patients with CMPS with the inclusion criteria were selected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Patients were randomly assigned into the filiform-fire needle group and the ordinary acupuncture group, with 30 cases in each group.Treat once a day, five times for a period of treatment, one period of treatment in all.The patients were evaluated of SF-MPQ score,NDI score, the Symptoms and Signs Scale of Injured Soft Tissues score and curative effect.Results1.After a course of treatment, there were statistically significant improvement in all scores of SF-MPQ,NDI and injured soft tissues in both filiform-fire needle group and ordinary acupuncture group compared to pretreatment results(P<0.05).2.Filiform-fire needle group showed better effects significantly on the decrease of SF-MPQ score than that of ordinary acupuncture group(P<0.01).However,there was no significant difference in the decrease of NDI score between filiform-fire needle group and ordinary acupuncture group.3.Except dysfunction, paresthesia, constipation and insomnia had the same improvement effect(P>0.05),scores of the rest of injured soft tissues and total scores of filiform-fire needle group were superior to ordinary acupuncture group(P<0.05).4.In terms of overall effectiveness, the total effective rate of filiform-fire needle group was 96.67%,and the total effective rate was 93.33%in the ordinary acupuncture group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionFiliform-fire needle therapy and ordinary acupuncture therapy were both effective in the clinical improvement of CMPS.Ffiliform-fire needle therapy showed a better improvement effect than ordinary acupuncture therapy in terms of analgesia and comprehensive efficacy, worthy of further clinical promotion and application.
