Object iveBy exploring the distribution characteristics of Western medicine types and TCM syndrome types of myelodysplastic syndromes(MDS),the correlation between different types and TCM syndrome types is analyzed, which provides a reference basis for the integrated TCM and Western medicine treatment of MDS.MethodsA total of 102 patients with a diagnosis of MDS diagnosed by Western medicine in the Department of Hematology of Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital from January 2013 to December 2019 were included.Information on peripheral blood, bone marrow morphology, and cytogenetics were collected. At the same time, collect the data of four diagnoses of traditional Chinese medicine and classify them dialectically. The MDS patient data collection form was prepared and sorted, and the relationship between the distribution of MDS TCM syndrome types and gender, age, and MDS classification was statistically analyzed by SPSS18.0.Results1.Among the 102 patients with MDS,61 were male(59.8%),41 were female(40.2%),and the male-to-female ratio was 1.49:1.The average patient age was 58.58±11.79 years, and the median age was 60 years old(23~81 years).2.Western medicine classification:3 cases of MDS-U(2.9%),3 cases of MDS-5q-(2.9%),4 cases of MDS-RS(3.9%),2 cases of MDS-SLD(2.0%),28 cases of MDS-MLD(27.5%),32 cases of MDS-EB-1(31.4%),and 30 cases(29.4%)of MDS-EB-2.3.Distribution of TCM syndrome types:70 cases of Qi-Yin deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome(68.6%),25 cases of spleen and kidney deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome(24.5%),7 cases of evil heat and fever with poisoning stasis syndrome(6.9%).The distribution of TCM syndromes was not related to gender and age(P>0.05).4.Western medicine classification and TCM syndrome type:The chi-square of MDS western medicine classification and TCM syndrome type is 23.377,P<0.05,which has significant correlation.MDS-U,MDS-5q-,MDS-SLD are closely related to Qi-Yin deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome, the correlation distance is 0.786.MDS-RS is relatively closely related to spleen and kidney deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome, the correlation distance is 0.315.MDS-MLD is closely related to spleen and kidney deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome, the correlation distance is 0.458,MDS-EB-1 is relatively close to Qi-Yin deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome, the related distance is 0.191,MDS-EB-2 is closely related to Qi-Yin deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome, and the correlation distance is 1.144.Conclusion1.MDS patients are more common in men and occur more in the middle-aged and elderly, which is consistent with epidemiological characteristics.2.The types of MDS in western medicine are more common in MDS-EB-1,MDS-EB-2 and MDS-MLD;TCM syndromes are mainly Qi-Yin deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome, spleen and kidney deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome.3.The classification of MDS western medicine and TCM syndromes are significantly related:MDS-U,MDS-5q-and MDS-SLD are closely related to Qi-Yin deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome.MDS-RS is closely related to spleen and kidney deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome,MDS-MLD is closely related to spleen and kidney deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome.MDS-EB-1 and MDS-EB-2 are closely related to Qi-Yin deficiency with poisoning stasis syndrome.Evil heat and fever with poisoning stasis syndrome are closely related to MDS-EB-2.
